anyone used or heard anything about these guys?? im in edinburgh and my local wheel refurb place told me they send the williams wheels to these guys down south as they do the job spot on, ie right colour and polished rim. cheers.
at the end of the day i think we can all agree the williams is to quote evo mag "the king of hot hatches" and is so much nicer to look at than a 172/182. runs and hides.......................................
guys, my car has breathing mods and a chip, hardly massive mods in anyones book, this was real driving in all gears just having some fun and the cars were very evenly matched. im just glad we gave loads of other drivers the chance to be overtaken by two mint cars and both renaults. me and my...
speed is not the only thing that makes a great car, yes i agree the 182 would be quicker to 100, but so would a meastro turbo, thats not really the point is it. put it this way, he was never, and i mean never, going to be able to get past me. not a big enough difference in performance for that.
we were driving for a quite a while, wasnt just dual carriageway, the fact mine is slightly modded is just me being honest, lets face it the 182 has a big advantage on bhp right from the start so im allowed a couple of mods to help me out surely. lol. he had a vipe on it but took it off, said...
yeah think he thought i was going to be a pushover. but he does love the williams, he was saying it was on 3 wheels on a couple of "sharp" corners, lol. suspension has been upgraded/lowered as well. it was the noise he loved ,he was driving with his windows down to hear it. lol.
met up with my mate whos got a 04 plate 182 with cup packs. took both the cars up to mine for a good washing session then out for a bit of a play. he stayed behind me and i led the way he was commenting on how sweet the williams sounded especially when i was booting it (his is standard) anyway...
you cant hand it back without paying a settlement figure as the agreement hasnt ran its full duration, oh and the final payment that is on the agreement is subject to the car being in good condition and serviced according to manufactures service intervals so it will be worth a lot less than the...
pipers aint exactly cheap!!! not sure how much the cats are and only one uk supplier according to their website. ben any sign of your pulleys being ready yet?
whats the opinions on the design of the cams? better than piper? the pipers are quite a high lift cam are they not so require lots of revs to get the gains higher up the rev range?? i know hillpower use them.
looking at getting a set of cams and verniers for my williams followed by a remap, car alreadys has filter/de cat/magnex/chip. there are a few options im looking at but cat cams are new to me but ive heard some good things about them and have been having a look on their website. just wondering...
that magnex is 3" mate, all the valver and willy systems by magnex were 3" its the only size they made, had the same on my valver and got the same on my williams now. car looks nice btw.
agreed but i would of spent more on a real minter tbh. thats what i did anyway, main thing is full history and receipts to back it up plus mint bodywork/arches etc, worth spending a bit more to get the best if u can imo.
