check for oil in water, water in oil.
Apart from that you can check for excess amount of white smoke from the exhaust (may even smell like hot coolant). All signs of a headgasket.
I am going to buy a valver and run a manual rack. Really want to know if I can keep the PAS column, could you let me know if you get an answer from WC.
Also need to know if the 1.2 manual rack and rod ends will work with williams wide track. cheers for any help anyone can give :)
2 years ago it was on ITBs mate. Was about 120bhp so don't think it was this. Quite a few G40 polos up north that make excellent power to weight ratios though
255 supposedly on a ph2^^
Get throttle bodies.
Am I right in thinking that the megane euro trophy racers have bored Vee engines in???
Surely there must be tuning kit available from them, if not buy one of those engines?
No mate, shouldnt think so, If the gear was actually ingauged properly with the clutch it's the engine that is going to MASSIVELY over rev. Which could do things like snap conrods, jump teeth on the timing belt, etc etc
How much is it then for the custom map and the required hardware without the wideband.
I should really invest in this to see more convincing gains from my 182 manifold and decat.
If I were to buy, get a custom map for current mods, then port my head at a later date - How much, if anything...
right well It sounds like your headgasket has gone and your rad fan doesent kick in properly.
Get any funny smelling thick white smokey steam out the exhaust? any oil in your water (will float to the top)?
Well done mate. Your right if a jobs worth doing, it's worth doing well. If you had 1k to spend, then that's not such a bad way to spend it. Although the returns come sale time will be abismal :(
Love the retrim, nice taste. Very well done.
You should never over tighten those caps. They are not designed to hold a lot of pressure. You'd rather you lost water out the cap on the motorway than out of a hose.
I've heard of people loosing water out of the cap and then pissing in the system to top it back up to get them home.
As long as...
