mate. If you can't find it on the aux belt. It's going to be something on the cambelt.
If you can change it do it, then perhaps get someone else to tension it. Or get someone else good to do the cambelt. They are really easy on 1.2 16vs.
I would just say remove the covers, and check the...
most expensive fixes that you can look for are going to be rusty arches, rusty sills/jack points, new tailgate is quite cheap but they rust too.
Steering column universal joints have a habbit of breaking, so the steering feels loose, then you need a new column, which is NOT a quick job.
Ask if...
Ok, your right, a wine that has a pitch related to engine revs is something on either the aux belt or the cambelt.
Thank fully, you have a lot of room in your engine bay. One test you can do to locate it is a little test using a very long screw driver. With the engine running, carefully! place...
agreed. Don't use magnetec, it's awful and runs too hot.
They are hyraulic tappets (which is not a bad design). Hydro tappets are simple and reliable. The roller rocker typre tappets in the F4R engines are quieter, but not a classically reliable design (although F4Rs are not known for top end...
Ok.
Valvers DO tap. It's a sign of a good valver engine when they don't tap too much tbh. The way to fix it or limit it, is to get new tappets put into the head. As the cam turns and pushes on the tappet, the cam and the tappet wear, and wear too much if there is no oil. The only way to...
I've been told on the MK1 forum that renault will supply a valver rear quarter for £300
You can get the 1.2 quarters even cheaper

that is fooking weird
Sounds like something is jammed in there (like a stick in the spokes of your bike :))
I don't see how it could jam on?
Were you braking when it stuck on?
GO TPFT
honestly. Say the worst does happen and you crash and claim. You then cannot insure any of the cars you want for the next AGES.
If i'd of claimed on my first car, there is no way I could have insured my valver or my 172
as per ususal.
Buy a 182
the only advantage you will have with doing the conversion is that it will work out a little cheaper than buying a 182, but your insurance is going to be fookin high
edit: If you want a project, personally i'd go for something a little more exciting :)
Do the lambda sensor, you will save yourself a bomb in petrol.
The rear brakes recording no effort is classic clio. the rear brake balancer is most probably fooked.
Remember it's a lot of hassle getting a new car.
