and hes got a mk2 172 on a 52 plate in flame red, he loves every minute driving it, before he got it, he used to love giving my 16v a thrash.
so i think he must be the oldest ... so far !!!
i wouldnt worry about it not having it, it will be very different if your cars got it now. I guess you will need to look for one with abs, if you want it. I personally havent had any probs with out it.
thats b*llocks , it took me 2 months to find mine, worth it in the end as it was the only one id seen with leahter.
be patient a good one will turn up !!
beh h ?will know this for definate

i had two grey and two silver ones, so i posted up to buy some grey ones, and ended up trading them with adi.
he wanted silver and i wanted grey, so sweet as (this was a while ago whe he had the silver 16v-rip)
it cost me the postage, but saved me a hassle !!

mines on 90k, i drive it on the weekends, it takes a bit of stick too, but its fine ! its never had any thing go wrong with it.
my mates got one aswell on about 86k he drives his to work every day+at the weekends, apart from the alternator going on it, his is fine aswell.
as posted on here already, (dunno how old you are)
but if you put 1 of your parents as a named driver, it goes down !!
so my 16v is now 600 f/c !! (it will be when i renew) you can save quite a bit.
it has the 5 spoke 172 alloys on when its being driven, and the 182 wheels when parked,
apparently the wheels and the exhausts were super-imposed on to the car as they didnt have a 182 ready for the ad - this was posted on here, so i dunno if its true,
also the rear spoiler, is it a cup...
its just my opinion, but i wouldnt bother selling it on there,
the reason is my mate put his standard 16v (m reg) on there with a reserve of £2500and was advertising it in the paper for £3000,
any way the people who contacted him were c*cks, one said ill give you £1500 for it, and another...
its for the hands free kit, my dad had it on his 52 plate 172 when he bought it,
he told them he didnt want it, so they removed it (i dont know how though)
its only a minor service, all i really want them to do is change the oil + check the power steering, everything else was done not so long ago.
i think ill try and ring them from work.
i had firestone firehawks on fiesta (with xr2i alloys) before i got my clio,
and it handled brilliantly the grip was excellent , my mum has them on her focus any they are very good on that aswell.
yes it is mate,
but it leaks out the hole in top of the cap,i reckon its got air in it .
im still looking for someone decent to give it the once over !!!
