I don't mind paying over 1k , it was just fardon didn't really want to do them as diesels isn't their thing ...
i had looked at turbo 5's rods but they are way to small
Good people over at Mahle, sorted me a set of k9k pistons for around £500 delivered from France. Actually was less hassle to get pistons from them than over here
Nope haven't compared them to an F4r rod, I wouldn't think they would be the same size ?
134mm C-C , 26mm small end, 47.6 big end
That's who I've asked Fred :D
they seem abit reluctant to make me a set. Even after I've been in and given them a spare rod to measure
Already got my Mahle pistons coming from France
Anyone know a place I can get the them made?
Contacted my local engineers , they have quoted me 640£ but it doesn't included VAT or labour for them
in other words it's looking over a 1k to have them done.
Does that look right?

Yeah bits you can buy to get the stupidly power tanks
and buy CR to upgrade your own tanks.
Im having fun charging around in a t1 Cunningham fully equipped to e5 Level :D
do have a T18 aswell but it's annoying with no 360 degree turret
Well spinksy has told me I have to be at his no later than half 11. Then 45-1h to the meet
by the time people have had a bite, looking on 1pm before we start driving
should be alright mate :)
Martin ok I have to agree on that one lol
ben, the 80 is cheapest tax at £20 a year.
80 is ment to get the best of mpg from all three but I'd say the 65 wins that but has no guts
as Martin says if you can find a tidy 100 go for it.
Just make sure it's not got fuel pump problems if it's high...
You've got the hassle of finding a decent 100 first lol
80's are all over like a decease
i wouldn't go to say the boxes are much better, only a closed diff rather than the jc5 open ended
yes cable shift bit better but no feel for the gears ( ok I admit the amount of play in the rod shift is...
Jc5 box used on renault sport models and DCI 65/80
jr5 on 100's and TL4 equipped renaults
i know for sure the widetrack can be done 100% on a DCI 80
few of us on here done it
Wide track only works on Jc5 boxed dcis AFAIK
saying that someone on here had a 172 rep 100 , can't remember if he used spacers or managed to get the wide track on the jr5 box
