Fine mate, probably better than standard because the OEM ones are plated metal, these are anodised aluminium. I've built a set with these and also ones for a mate. They slightly shorter in height than OEM but it's negligible. Really easy to rebuild those Brembos.

Cutting out when revving sounds like a sensor issue. Possibly the crank sensor.

That sounds right. The 14v will be the power and the other will be the 0-5v reference that's sent to and from the ECU.
