After an initial mind melt yesterday to do with the rear hub I promptly got on with the job in hand fitting of the stub axel spacers I had been soaking the nuts in penetration fluid and they come undone rather easily. I had heard of horror stories about the torx head but can honestly say they...

Brilliant and the above order is correct yeah? isn’t there two washers/spacers behind the disc?

Just going to fit my stub axels spacer and hoping people could just confirm as it’s been about 3 years since I last did this... Undo 2x Caliper bolts an move out of way... Undo hub nut nyloc and remove disc giving access to 4x t50 torx heads... Finally undo the nuts whilst holding the t50s not...

Quick update... Spacers fitted this morning and I lubricated the stub axels nuts ready to fit the rear spacers when I get the flanged nuts. Checked the abs ring also which is the same as the one I was given so lucked out there too!

Sooo being a budget build I’ve managed to source some free parts... 16mm spacers for the front with the 14mm minimum depth required to fit on the hub. Already have the longer bolts left over from the turbo 🤣 These stub axel spacers were thrown in by the previous owner, I just need to source...

Thought it was, I’ll have to go through the car with a fine tooth comb then! haha Had a bit of a afternoon on the BG swapping out the rear back boxes, like for like but the fresh fitted is newer and better condition. Need to get a couple of powerflex mount as I know the oem ones won’t hold up...

I mean really what is going on with the 1*2 prices!! I recently missed out on buying my turbo 172 back cheap because I hesitated and the past week I’ve missed out on 2 Artic blues, an inferno and 2 silver 182s all for around 2-3k mark. I appreciate the fact that manufactures don’t make cars...

When I had the 172 we used a Recaro privia evo then graduated to a Recaro young expert and now they both have Recaro monza nova evos... all forward facing never to much of a chew to get in or out tbh.

Back again... On the look out for a cheap 182 to build and sit along side the Megane... Missed out on one today cheap, local & extensive history an only £2k!! Had 180k on it though which I didn’t think was too bad tbh. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yea I kept mine for 18months after boosting and only sold it due to needing a bigger car... Which I’ve since sold to come to... But an now looking for another 1*2 to build and boost along side the meg 🤦🏻‍♂️

I’ve never had any issues with them personally, always seen me right an done work after hours to save some pennies. Basically yeah mate, I told my dealer mate if they announce one I’m kick him in the nuts haha That’s good to hear that she’s still going strong! Will always regret selling that...
