    You'd have to take tension off the belt to get the idler pulley on, but it's easy enough to do yourself.

    Pretty sure they're different in size and weight 5.3kg on 172 vs 6.1kg on 197. Not sure on trigger pattern.

    Have a look around the pulley area, it should be pretty noticeable if it is that.

    A throaty idle a bit like a rough idle as the intake and exhaust valves are open slightly at the same time due to the cam profile.

    Put the wheel back on and use that as leverage to pull on. Put the hub nut back on a few turns too incase it suddenly releases.

    It'll just be tight on the stub axle. A few taps with a hammer should sort it, failing that a puller tool will do it.
