Re: Project 172 *** ITB'S - 204bhp *** Sausage filter fitted Page 14
I take it you've removed the plastic block behind the left side of the grille? So the top grille is open on both sides. (as standard left side is blocked)
Id do entire inside of headlights black, but be interesting to see what the orange is like! Also, if you dont like, easy to change to all black :)
Cracking looking mini that.
Id get an eye test dude. Night driving puts a lot of strain on your eyes, can affect short sightedness as warren says.
Lots of people require glasses just for driving, especially at night.
Also, on the clio's ive owned you can turn dials down until theyre almost not lit, does yours do this...
Being in Hampshire, id take it to Wokingham motors mate. Ive used a few of the big names on here, but have gone back to Wokingham motors. Know their stuff, reasonable prices and really really good service :) plus its a proper renault dealership so you're covered in that sense.
If you need...
I like it. Wheels and black over it look great. Needs smoother sideskirts without the little holes in, and a windscreen you can see out of though to finish it off.
If you brake properly with good use of your right foot, they shouldnt lock up. You dont have to be light footed, but dont stomp the pedal, and feather off at the end before they lock.
Im not sure you do, as if you understood what it was, you wouldnt be asking how to replicate it.
Unless you...
Always make sure you're able to stop in the distance you can see to be clear...
But, yes id advise you getting the phase one mate. Have you seen any that you like?
Seriously mate, are you aware of what abs does, what situations it works in, and what it feels like when it works?
It doesnt make the brakes 'better', sharper, or any of those things.
It means that you have some control over the steering in an 'oh s**t' moment.
Eh? Abs just means that you can steer and brake in an emergency stop situation.
Things that make your brake activate harder wont replicate abs, they'll make the brakes lock up sooner.
Id learn to drive with good observational skills so that you dont get into situations where you'd need to...
