So lets say your on a sub 20k a year salary as a lot of people are, that £750pcm will leave you £550pcm. Now lets say your buying a 197 on finance, thats going to be about £250pcm, you pay rent to your parents, I used to pay £200pcm so lets go with that, you then need to out of that pay for...

How much will you free up if you sell the 197 and buy one of the cars you are considering? If its enough, or at least a good starting point towards being enough, then its worth doing.
