UCH on the 2002 is aparently just the fuse box and relays combined, on earlier models they where separate according to this manual.
ok. so if the fuses are ok,
have you a multimeter to hand?? switch the fogs on, go the the front fogs, pull the wire off and test if you are getting any dc...
i knw where the relay is for the lights on the 2001 clio,( behind the glove box)
on the 2002 it a UCH thing.
best option is take the fuse cover of the passenger side part of the dash when you open the door and look at the back of the cover and it should tell you which fuse is which( check the...
Re: Flame Red DCI 80 Sport Rep
dont think the original non sport parts of the car are in flame red.
my dad has a dci 65 and the colour he choose when he bought it from renualt was metallic cherry red. ( looks exactly the same as the dull parts on your dci)
but you've managed to get the...
well, i took the dodgy one out, then got pissed of trying to fit the new one, realy aquard place to get to, so dad managed to get it in after 2 hours of f'ing and blindin at it.
never ever going to attempt to do it again, leave it to the experts
if it's still under warranty from Renault, let...
i had to reset mine by switching the lights on on off several times. i dnt knw how to do it now because my dad and me found it by acidently when the headlights wouldnt turn on.
ouch!!! f***ing idiots, they always take no care for other people belonging, but if you do it to them, its a whole different thing.
hope you get them back to mint condition m8.
i didnt fail my MOT for non working fogs, i just took the bulbs out and it past. ( got new bulbs in the fogs now, why i took the old one's out i dnt knw. t***)
ok. so i get this to people.
my 1.4 had a big issue with the back sub axle and i was contemplating on wether or not to fix it( dnt now the cost of the fix!!!) or just get a 172/182 because i dnt want a 1.2 and dont see the point in getting a 1.6.
my 1.4 is only worth the best part of £2000...
im going on the route of keeping it i think.
just means i gotta work my ass off at work to get it back on the road and to keep it insured ect.
god i hate the new schem for 17 year old drivers.
rip off on insurance but i dnt want anything else lower in performance than the car i have now.
cnt...
@ stockers2169
performance cams of a 1.6( pain in the backside to fit)
.ecu remap
.17" low profile wheels
.172 body kit
.full system after-market exhaust
.cold forced intake
.quick shift gear stick
.gear box syncro's uprated
.and something else i cant remeber of the top of my head
no. i used to pay £4k for my modified 1.4. but i managed to get it to under half the amount.
im stuck what to do now because thinking of having a 172 at only 17 might be pointless. but i dnt want to spend much getting my 1.4 fixed.
not realy bothered about the insurance. all ready paid £4000 a year for a modified 1.4 16v, the with help got it to under half the amount i used to pay.
if the quotes are around £4k then im not to chuffed but over that i might have second thoughts.
any idea's.???
i would preferably want either a 172 top spec/ or 182 top spec.
does anyone know any good places to go look at them or even buy them if im satisfied??
any links would be much appreciated.
many thanks. ryan
doesnt realy matter now, my mates dad had alook and the sub axle has give up the ghost.
im strip this car down, give my mate the engine/ecu for his car, keep the wheels and other mods for my next car. 172 body kit keept as spare incase i damage the next clio i'll get. sods law.
realy liked...
bloomin hell. for a 1.2 before year 2000 is abit O.T.T for £4000 of your hard earn cash. mine was £4000 dead on for a 2002 1.4 16v with plenty of mods until the lads on here help me out. best advice i can give is try third party, fire and theft, thats a bit cheaper.( altho if you write your car...
hand brake works and the wheels spin freely. tyre's are still inflatted. springs are under alot of pressure atm( squashed to under half the size pointing 2wards the front.) , shocks dont look damaged from what i can see.. in the boot thiers a massive stress mark around where the shocks are held...
finish the cam set up after blowing the head to pieces, had remap done, changed my insurance to a cheap deal with some help from users on here.
when to work this morning in the car, drove their normally(didn't want to rev much until the engine settles back in) all was fine, made it their...
i think if i remember right the back one is abit more tricky to get off.
when i did mine, i had to gently pull mine off with a trim tool as mine was stuck on with some stickyfoam crap.
but my mate did his and his was screwed on from inside the box bit that the badge sits on. and to get that...

if its cheap enough i will probably get a 172 if the insurance is near what im paying now. ;)
other wise i will have to keep the one i currently have on a cheaper quote. fingers crossed!!!

i work at british aero space as an electrician so money is'nt such a big problem but it would be great if i could save money, so when it comes for...
gloss black. matt seems to look bit greyish when out in the sun. gloss black will look brilliant if you get the last coat and surface spot on. a nice bit on wax and elbo grease will make them stand out.
be warned. when painting the badges make sure you use 1500 grit or higher to key the surface...
