Few updates as the car approaches the 45k point! Still going strong *touch wood*
Anyhow, when i had a Spring snap i bought some Sachs lowering springs from ECP and in short were awful once they had bedded in.
I bit the bullet and bought some like for like Eibach Pro-Kit Springs.
Promptly...
Just a tad over 42k now! so time for another Service.

*Air Filter
*Gearbox Oil
Should keep it sweet.
Also had Spring snap on the front, so sourced some new replacements and fitted them a few week ago along with new Top Mounts. Back to rude health now.

I’d say the R26 is a ‘better’ car/package. Ultimately both are special cars and in the era they was in production nothing could touch them, even now they’d still show the modern stuff a thing or two.
I’ve always said a standard R26 in either GW/LY will be very desirable, as we know the 182...
40 miles is nothing, i’d rather have a car that you look forward to going to and from work in rather than some soul destroying run of the mill diesel. Plus 1*2’s are economical as they come tbh. You’d regret it!
Looks great does that. These 220 Trophy versions are a lot better than the press make you believe, i would consider one next regardless of no Manual option..
Just wish they would offer the optional Trophy Seats that you could spec on the Preface Trophy!

Just reached the Atonement Mission, but I’ve only recruited 1 Specialist out of the 3, anyone know once you’ve done that mission you can go back and do the Specialist missions ?
