20-30 mm is about right. Will level the car out more than anything, so the front doesnt sit so much higher than the rear.

I didnt drill holes in the bumper. Self tapping srews, you dont really need to. Drill holes in splitter, then tape splitter tightly in place where you want it. Then you can either drill smaller holes through your original holes in the splitter to make tiny holes in bumper to put the screws...
