Quick question -Megane DCI 80 and 172 Brakes-

Hiya I've been looking about and noticed the Megane DCI 80 brakes are 280mm disks, do they use the same calliper's, pads and discs as the RS Clio's by any chance ? Thanks Paul

Likely not my best idea to date ...

Not the best picture but the one below was before the IronX, took about 3 passes with it and a textured cloth. Quite badly caked in brake dust :rasp:

Likely not my best idea to date ...

Asides from the smell of death it's actually cracking stuff, that one in the pic is the spare and was covered in CV gunk and some seriously baked in dust ! I'm tempted to bring the "OZ Trailer" to CSS 2011 :D

    PH2 1.4 MPG?

I was getting a reading of 52 MPG in the sport from the trip (Now while this is obviously an ambitious number I must have been doing something right to get it to read as such as my 1.4 never reads above 42) Needless to say I was driving like a pussy.

are rear pads on clio 172 easy to change??

Very easy, just be sure to wind the piston back in and align the notch on the pad to the slit in the piston.

    PH2 1.4 MPG?

Ive had consistent mpg over the last 2 years, 36 mpg mixed and 42 motorway. To be honest the car rapes me for fuel money but it could be down to the miles I drive. I spend £200 a month for 1100 miles a month.
