Remove them and fit 2 of the below (or cheaper) bit of ducting and you got yourself some brake ducts :D

Im sure you need the bulb holders mate as they clip to the unit differently. But yeah its a simple rewire, when i did my mates his hazards and reverse light went mental (He wired his side wrong LOL)
Got lucky with the spring there, Ive had 2-3 CM missing from mine before from a very small break and it failed, mates was the same. P.S if you ever have to change these careful with spring clamps, had a set fail on quite a bit of compression and nearly lost a knee.
That's well over priced imo, my mate got a 1999 ph1 with 30k on the clock for £999 immaculate condition too. Small seller in Sunderland, same place i got my 1.2 aswell for 1200 :P

Tbh owning a RS can be considered a waste of money, better off driving a derv to save some ££. Best of luck to you mate, if you have the ambition and £ then go for it, worst case scenario you waste a few grand and you have to put In some overtime to claw it back ;)
