got caught today doing 42 in a 30........though i honestly thought the road in question was a 40, one way, 2 lanes the copper hardly said a word to me, told me what speed i was goin, shown me the distance they got me from, and passed me over to this traffic cop guy, who also hardly said...

right, this problem has been there for a bit now at any speed after approx 50mph my car will pull to the right when i brake, it gets worse with speed it happened when i had my 1.4 brakes, it happened after the system was bled and new brake hoses, its still happenin with new calipers discs...

me mate Paul (coolspot007007)came round today in the Renault 5 GTT he has bought to go into his 16v now all i can say is WOW ! that is one damn quick car !.....there is nothin gonna stop me from gettin a GTT conversion now, its seriously like sh*t off a shovel, i couldnt believe how fast it...

i was thinkin of gettin some side skirts for my car but there aint many that i like, when i was lookin in Demon Tweeks i saw some RGM ones which i love ! but it says for Clio 16v, would these fit on my RT ?....or would the bits where it goes to the arch be different with the 16v being wider...

chipped ECU for Clio 1.4RT the ECU is fairly new, bought/fitted in March last year (Cost £300 !) is fitted with a Hill Power stage 1 chip, and the ECU box has been sealed with silicone sealant just wondered how much i could sell this for when i get my GTT conversion ?

anyone got one of these, im thinkin of gettin one...

are they any good, for the price they seem to be loaded with features and have very good power output ?

im gettin some 16v brakes for my 1.4RT, and i can get hold of a 16v master cylinder too however, the car that its comin off has got ABS, and mine hasnt, and on andyspares they apparantly list 2 types, 1 for ABS, and the other for non ABS would i be ok to fit this or not ?

ive just ordered two new tyres to replace my fronts now, should i put the new tyres at the back, or at the front im pretty sure i should put em at the back, and move the current backs to the front, which still have tons of life left in em after 12k..... thought i would ask first though

does anyone know how much a set of 16v/willy calipers weigh, and also the discs too, with pads i was thinkin about 10kg, am i about right ?

i need 2 new tyres, now i was gonna get some Eagle F1 GSD-2 for £44 each but ive been hearin a lot about these uniroyal tyres, are they really that good in the wet would anyone choose em over the goodyear ?

should these be replaced on a rebuild, from readin around most people dont seem to bother, but when you get it done at BB or K-Tec im pretty sure they replace them...... the engine thats goin into my Clio is havin a rebuilt bottom end, so should i get new pistons ?.........i am trying to keep...

could someone tell me, everything that gets changed.... do you get gtt brakes ?.....does anythin happen with the steerin column, do you definitely need the 5GTT dials.............etc...........

eventually i will be replacing my clutch (if i dont get a GTT engine first !) and while thats bein done i thought it would be a good time to get a lightened flywheel, seems you can get it done for about £50, saw a few adverts in CCC what difference does it make though, does it add any extra...
