The 438's are Ktec's custom ones that are made for them by Cat Cams.
This is the specs for both, although they don't list the lift at tdc specs for the 438's

The only 2 people i know of that know how to do the timing of the 197 cams is @bloke and @NorthloopCup
Probably a few others around that know as well though.
Cat Cams run standard timing or custom (with the non VVT version).
Timing the 197 cams in won't cost anymore than what it would to time them to standard.
Yeah it is, seen it on loads including mine.
You'll need some brake cleaner to clean the cover and each bolt otherwise the silicone won't stick.
The bolts don't need to be tight either, 11Nm is about right I think.
They all leak lol
It's a liquid gasket and you can't just take the cover off, it holds the cams in.
Quite common for it to leak from the bolts though, take them out 1 by 1 and seal under the head with black loctite sealant.
Can lift the pistons out on the Brembo's by hand using a flat head screwdriver to lever the lip of the piston.
Done it a few times on Meganes.
Just don't scratch the bore of the piston!
Saw this on another forum and thought it was quite funny.
Driver didn't seem too happy and slung his helmet into the air 😂
Anyone got any other moments captured on camera?
Look how far it goes 😂
