Not that I'm aware of, forgot to put on there I have my mates 182 at the moment as well and is exactly the same on that too? My first thought was the same as yours, had mine been bent/twisted but the fact that it's the same on 2 different cars would kind of say it's not that
Let me stat off by saying that i have already emailed PMS but obviously being Sunday evening I'm not expecting any response for a day or so. The quality of these products is excellent and I'm hoping what I am about to describe is me being dumb rather than it being an issue with what I've...
If it's on a 55 plate it'll be a ph2 (I expect it's a campus extreme?) Or possibly what some call a ph3, these had a slightly different front bumper but are virtually idental otherwise.
As for the seats/door cards etc, there shouldn't be an issue fitting, I'd be very surprised if Renault made...
There should be 'some' resistance as the bearing will sit tight onto the stub axle, normally you have to get the bearing pretty much square on the axle for it to go on. Obviously it shouldn't need to forced on but some friction is to be expected until the bearing is at least partially onto the axle
When you say your car didn't have front fog lights is it a case of someone has removed them or have they never been fitted?
I ask as there was a thread on a very similar subject not long ago and from memory it's a real pain to retro fit if they've never been installed (something to do with uch...
I think I know what you're saying.
Basically the part of the brake pad that makes contact with the carrier (part the pads sit in) sometimes needs the paint filing off otherwise they won't fit, and you will need to remove the little metal piece that the pad sits in too for them to fit (called...
No worries. I just popped 'steering arm tool' into the search bar of the bay and took a screen shot for an example, the one pictured is about £35.
Don't know about doing a guide lol, if people want one I'd do it
And yep just undo the old ones and then do up new, I'll have a look in the morning...
Believe so but will have to change slam panel as well as other body panels too. Has been done a few times by some members so I'm sure they'll pass on what they know
It may be either condensation or a small leak from drain tubes but the mk2s suffer badly with leaking sunroofs, normally caused by the failure of the foam damming tape between the sunroof assembly and the roof panel of the car, very very common issue but easily sorted by undoing the roof...
If you're doing the inners then I'd change the outers for peace of mind as you may well have to get aggressive with then if they haven't been touched for a while.
The hardest bit is removing the inners from the steering rack so have a look at access before getting to the point of no return and...
172 cup dampers will fit, sure I rad somewhere that they're supposed to be a bit firmer than standard but i cant comment on whether it's true or not. I have switched to cup rears on and have new cup fronts to fit this week, rears made a big difference but a lot of that is probably due to the...
Apologies for the delay in replying, just bought the mrs a Mk3 so I now know where the fuse box is. It's below and to the left of the steering column as seen in these photos
Window fuses are bottom left and 3 up from bottom on right hand side, 25 amp and a sandy sort of colour
If you're looking to keep it within spec for the 182 series I believe you can only use top mounts and coilover setup from k tec racing. I could be wrong but that's the way I read it anyhow.
Otherwise it looks a nice solid base to progress from, I assume you'll run the harnesses off the cage...
I believe it's the yellow wire. I am about to do this myself next week, this is probably the thread you were looking for earlier

It's a grey area at best, this is what he's pointed me to whilst he digs through paperwork

Drivers window is fuse no 19 and 20 amp
Passenger is no 20 and 30 amp according to the old haynes manual
These will be in the fuse box on passenger end of dash, they are all numbered but you need to look very carefully to see the numbers.
Mate who's a tester, not disagreeing with the part about being able to take away and return to test station, however previous certificate is then no longer valid. At least thats what he told me a couple of month ago. I'll see if I can get something concrete out of him over the weekend
Second hand switches or new? These are a very common problem, I've changed them quite a few times over the years.
As a side note the passenger window is wired through the drivers side first and needs the feed from the drives side switch and then passenger side switch in order to operate.
