If you're having issues with PFs and stopping the issue isn't the pads. I say it as they are a competition pad and in competition we don't give a toss about marked wheels :)
We run PF in both our Cayman race cars, wash the car at the end of the day and you'll have no issues.
Anyone who puts PFs in a road car is asking for trouble.
For 50k I'd want a car that I could actually fit my elbows in, can drive with my shoes on and have a proper seating position and steering wheel position. The car still feels and looks like a 50 years old car. People love them, I certainly don't.

Quick question, if I do a few races in 750 then decide I want to go onto a more freely regulated series such as Tin Tops can the ECU be unlocked to allow ITBs, Cams ect and mapping or will I have to buy another one from K-tec?

Yeah we did GT4 on Avons by far the worst slicks I've experienced. The lap time barely drop off after 4/5 heat cycles which tells you more about their performance when new rather than their durability.

I 100% agree with you when it comes to track days, racing is very different though and then there's racing on slick! 100 degrees for a slick is too high 95 degrees and you're falling off the performance plateau.
