    Question about cams

    I think cams really liven these engines up and make then much nicer to drive. No massive gains in power but improves the engine as a whole and if your belts need doing I'd advise it.

    Certainly not true for the drivetrain. P1 is ahead in the aero stakes however. Saw a P1 testing a MIRA recently, I was doing 120mph on the bowl and it rattled passed at an almighty pace.

    It will see far more road miles than track, we are currently having a debate on which will be quicker the Cayman on slick or this out the box.

    Ceramics are an option but not one that's ticked. The only real option on this is the Clubsport Package ( Cage, fixed carbon buckets, fire extinguisher and harnesses) First trackday penciled in for March.

    boxa.net iirc. Hoods are fine. Glass screen and reliable. They eat drop links but they are fairly cheap and take 10 minutes to swap.
