    Very cheap that mate! I'd be having a good look at it first to make sure it's ok. They have all the repair costs of the R26's. Swivel hub bearings £100 a side, clutch and flywheel £800...

    Magnetic ones would be expensive for a one off thing. Definitely go for vinyl. Just wax your car before applying and use heat when removing and it won't damage the paint.

    Shouldnt really be getting holograms with a DA unless you're only doing really quick passes and not breaking polish down at all. I'd try doubling your passes, so 6 passes. That should enough for a finishing polish.

    I think you need to work it longer and with less pressure on the machine.

    And it takes more than 3 pea sized spots of polish to prime a pad. Put more on and work it in to the pad by hand first.

    They can require a fair bit more than 8 ton to press them out sometimes. 20 ton press will do it.
