Likely because the performance disparity between the Hondas and everything else. Saying that, the first rounds are always missing a few due to delayed builds.
We are undecided on what to race it in. The plan is to get the first two races under our belts then decided what to do with it. One Championship dictates standard calipers the others are pretty much free.
Testing at Oulton then Brands

They are on FB too.
Testing in two weeks and racing in 3. :D
I'm heading down later this week so will get some more pictures, the car is plumbed and wired. Team Dynamics are yet to deliver the wheels annoyingly, 2 weeks late so far!
Shame you're not going to Brands we are racing there on the 4th and 5th. Cherry picking rounds sounds like a good plan especially if you're on a budget. I know that's what we're doing.
Sequential boxes are for heros. Nothing like the noise of straight cut gears and dogs chattering.
It would require a proper ECU and ignition cut to get the best from it, in terms of reliability and speed of change.
This is the first year PCGB have used slicks so it’s a massive learning curve for everyone. The 911s are allowed 320bhp compared to the 260 of the boxsters, as the race progresses the rears on the 911 go off (lose grip) and this allows the less powerful boxsters to start nipping at their heels.
Yes, funnily enough.
The car gets back from paint later today with the aim of it being plumbed and wired by next week. The cage took a week longer to get in than expected but the workmanship is very high. All the suspension components have arrived apart from the KWs, the build date for them is...
Its all about last minute testing.
We are testing on the 1st, having calibration work done on the 2nd, then testing again on the 3rd. The first race is the 4th. :D fun times.
