When it rains my headliner gets wet, one place only - passenger side, corner next to the sun visor. Cars a 172/non-sunroof.
I've done a search and tried what I could find from a search. I have the aerial out, put silicon around the hole and then on the nut on the inside. Screen has also been...
Nice one, I could get it blanked off (welded) at work probably. You only running a hose one way to the OCT?
When you expecting to have it out for a bit of a shakedown drive?
They will put down air filter as a modification (cheap mod). The K-Tec panel filter is classed as a modification, Poly bushes in dogbone mount too (although think they just generalised 'poly bushes' on my policy). Don't think they have an age limit, they do specialise in modified cars - maybe...
The pretty much sheep spec of cs.net. Coilovers, Stealth system, OZ F1's, rear ARB, rollcage and so on
They never hesitated at all. Seats and harnesses to be in at some point. They don't increase premium if the modifications don't increase power output. Their prices work on 'power brackets'
Where did you get this from? Dials are on my list as soon as I figure out where to put them
If you decide you want the dash flocking, drop me a pm and I'll get you contact details for the guy that did mine - did a top job!
Shame about the r32, was a nice car.
Shouldn't be too hard, isn't it electrical you do at RR?
You not adding a Whiteline ARB to the list? Best thing I've bought for the ££. Rear beam gusset kit from pure motorsport would be an option if you fancy a bit of welding
Taking the oil temp from the...
Will keep an eye on this one! Sounds similar to my future plans
Shift light sounds interesting. Much involved in putting that sort of thing together?
Not seen you around since i fitted my coilovers. Still got the golf?
Charlie
Thanks.
i've got them back in, put a fair about of pressure on them. Tightened the two bolts up, plugs back on. Had it sat idling for 5mins and no leaks. Engine management light is on though, will plug RSTUNER in tomorrow, see what the issue is
I've only replaced the one injector so would rather not remove the other three. I'm looking for the way it should feel when pushing them in. I have put a little bit of lube on the o-rings that go into the head. Obviously this would explain them coming out easier, but there is no visual 'click'...
AA came to my house and diagnosed it as injector #4, picked a new one up. Got the rail off with a bit of wiggling and tugging. Pulled out injector (little splash of fuel) new injector pushed/clipped in. I'm now struggling to get the rail back in. Don't want to break something. Does it just need...
Admiral bumped my renewal up £300 from last year and said to remove roll cage (insured it with it in last year), no changes other than more ncb. Brentacre halved it and allowed the roll cage too
multicar policy was good though when we had 4 cars on it
I've just had mine put through an mot and the only thing that was said was an advisory of "no rear seats present". Guy that mot'd it is msa registered for rallying so is a bit anal about things
Thanks Henk. Will give it a go.
After a bit of investigation I found the plugs in the rear, had been told that these didn't exist in other threads/searches. Going to try the resistors and then returner again.
Plugs on the rear belt reels are near where they are/were mounted. Maybe some don't...
After speaking with an ex-Renault mechanic, I have been told that the "second row seat belt pretensioner" DTC code is for the buckle, the fact its open circuit means there is an issue with the wires (or my soldering.... ). The wiring for the seats is, and has always been (apparently) rubbish...
The dreaded airbag/serv light saga continues. Used my RSTuner to try clear the fault codes. Has done a couple of them. Two are left however. See image link below.
When I fitted my cage, i did break the plug under the drivers seat, so today i cut out out and soldered the wires together (based on...
