Blue wire (lighting positive) to red wire
Yellow/Red (12 volt positive) onto centre connector which is held on with what looks like either an 8 or 10 mm nut
Connect the black/pink original wiring and the black wire from new illumination light together and then onto connector on right of new...
Pretty certain most serious track guys and racers have removed it, it's on my list when I get round to removing dash again, AFAIK it's just sound deadening/insulation
There are a few ways of doing it depends on personal preference really, could get yourself a cup setup from the for sale section when they come up but you have to be quick mind, pure motorsport (pms) do various kits depending on whether you just want rid of air con or more, or if you use the...
This may be a bit long winded but these are for 2002 ph2 sport according to what I have
1 Engine Coolant Blower Motor Relay (with AC)
2 Fuel Pump
3 Engine Coolant Blower Motor Relay (without AC)
4 AC Compressor Clutch Relay
5 Anti Percolation Engine Coolant Blower Relay/Engine Coolant Blower...
Airbag will need resistors to keep the light off, or possibly be 'removed' using genuine renault software (speak to one of the specialists on here as they will know better). As for the horn I had to cut the connector plug off my original loom and then solder the new connection on, but I did buy...
It's the cabin temp sensor, goes in the roof by interior light, on the panel there's some holes and it clips in above. There is a technical name for it but it escapes me at the moment
If its caliper seized on then you'll either struggle to turn the wheel or will at least feel more resistance, a worn bearing will either have 'play' where the wheel will wobble or will sound horrendous when spinning the wheel up, or even both. Another sign of brakes binding would be some...
@Sesqui89 @fivepointnine
I got a bit behind with things last week so didn't get a chance to find out. I'll pick their brains either tomorrow or Tuesday and see what numbers/prices are like and go from there?
Yes you do I'm afraid. The wiring runs through both switches before going to the passenger window motor. On the diagram below item 111 is the passenger motor 114 passenger switch 113 passenger switch on drivers side, it needs a complete circuit from the uch through all the above...
Definitely disconnect battery first and then follow wires back in their pairs so you know which to connect back up, off hand I can't remember which pair does what but if you follow them back all will become clear
Yes you're going to have to cut through the wires, originally everything would have been on connectors. As for reconnecting, either going to have to solder them back together or use crimp on connectors, I personally like to solder everything (as they have done in first photo) but each to their own
Don't get me wrong I'm not worried about the fuel bill, let's face it you don't buy one because you need a car, you buy one because you want one, I don't look at the mpg figures, just put more fuel in
I paid £3800 for my ML55 on 52 plate, i do have a soft spot for those E class estates as well though, there's something about the old merc v8's, as long as you can stomach the fuel bill lol.
I've removed all of mine and relocated the loom to where the passenger airbag was under the dash and for the time being I've had to leave the 2 side impact sensors connected as normal to keep the light off, until I can get them removed properly on gen renault computer
Not sure where you are...
