My hardest photographic subject in over twenty years.

Sorry for your loss mate. I lost one of my best friends a few years ago when I was 21, properly hard to come to terms with. But you'll get there, remember the good times and why you were so close as mates. It's nice you've been able to do something special for your all your memories, I know...

    BMW 640d

Nice car but I can't get over the £80k price! Cars seem to be getting so much more expensive nowadays in relation to wage rises/house prices etc.

Love this car! Where did you buy the scuffmaster kit mate? Could you pm me? Was it easy?!

    First run in the Jag....breakdown!

Lol! It is real, and so was the 8.6mpg it achieved yesterday on a steady drive. Good thing is it makes my M3 look like an economical daily driver so I can justify it that little bit more!

    Is this an AMG?

Strangest question to ask on a forum ever. and why do you video yourself driving?!

    First run in the Jag....breakdown!

Thanks guys. Found the original touch up stick set too, plus an original Jaguar and RAC grill badge still boxed from new!

    First run in the Jag....breakdown!

Had a car cleaning spree today and rolled the Jag out as it was a bit dusty. Cleaned all the inside, treated the leather, gave the outside a whip over and polished the glass inside and out, this made a big difference as the glass was covered in marks! Goes in for service Wednesday morning so...

    E46 M3 Summer Clean

Thanks, drives so much better on the 18's, plus the tyres are a chunk cheaper! And it's a bit more subtle with them being smaller too, most people in my line of work don't like flash cars so it blends in slightly more unless they see the back end! It's not technically for wheels but I just...

    E46 M3 Summer Clean

Just IronX on the wheels, and they've only been on a few months in fairness so not had much time to get properly stuck on.

    E46 M3 Summer Clean

Had an all day bender yesterday and woke up at 7am so decided best way to get rid of the headache was some fresh air. Had all the wheels off, cleaned the arches, painted the calipers a fresh black, then just gave the whole car a once over. Nice to have a shiny car again! Now on 111500...

My Dads '89 XJS V12 Convertible

8mpg was me taking it slowly too, plus it's a little starved of fuel! Although it was short journeys, I'm sure it used to get 17mpg on a run!

My Dads '89 XJS V12 Convertible

Managed to get the car MOT'd today, went straight through with no issues at all as expected. Insurance have done me over unfortunately, I turn 25 in December and from then I could insure it for £205 a year, however it has just cost me near on £800! Although I guess for a £20k car with no NCB...

My Dads '89 XJS V12 Convertible

Around £40k I think. It has a few one off extra so technically there isn't another of this spec anywhere in the world from the factory apparently too. My dad always said it was between this and a second hand GT40 - imagine what that would be worth if he'd bought one of them and only done 8k in...

My Dads '89 XJS V12 Convertible

You're a legend dude! Had a quick try after work and got the hang of it, works as it should too so luckily I've not snapped/damaged anything. Have been looking through the paperwork tonight, found the original sales brochure for it, all the old MOT's, only a few years where it wasn't done. All...

Hiya dude, Yeah if you have some details of a specialist for servicing etc it would be great. Sales won't be any use to me though!

My Dads '89 XJS V12 Convertible

Ah right, hope I haven't broken then then as it did roll it back into the garage thinking that handbrake was broken....! Hoping to find a good specialist where I can be in the workshop with the car so I can learn my way around it a bit.

My Dads '89 XJS V12 Convertible

I think it must be that then as I'm sure the handbrake was on when I got it it, so will have a play tomorrow. Yeah it is on the right of the driver next to the sill. Thanks again for the help :) It makes a lovely noise too, very quiet but smooth, shakes the whole car at standstill!

My Dads '89 XJS V12 Convertible

Not really, he used it a lot when he first bought it, but was always a third car and he had his own business so didn't get much time to use it. Seems a strange way but will give it a go dude, thanks for that :) Know of any decent specialists up my way to send it to?!

My Dads '89 XJS V12 Convertible

Surprised it took so long for someone to spot the ash..! I'm just planning on keeping it mint and using it the odd time to be honest, not sure about showing it etc but we'll see. It smells so old school, still got the new car smell to be honest. Need to get the handbrake fixed ASAP so I can...

My Dads '89 XJS V12 Convertible

Here she is. My dad bought the car new in 1989, and it has been in the garage ever since! As some may know he died last month so I have been taking on the epic mission of starting to clear our barn and outbuildings of all the crap and working out what we still need. The garage was on the list...

Keep 182 or lease new Fiesta ST?

No probs mate, got me thinking to be honest. You'd all s**t yourselves at an M3 monthly cost over 12k miles a year that I've just done, do really like the fiestas and fancy something small and nippy again, might be able to save the VAT too so would make it a bargain really, my only problem is...
