I just finished watching all the races, some good decisive overtakes in the 2nd Donny race.
Do you prefer the the sprint format of FT now or still the TT distance?
Exactly he is actually pretty good at exhibition driving, arguably better than any rally driver due to the amount of time he has spent doing it, no he can't stitch that corner in corner out on a world rally stage but to be floating around in the top ten on a world level is no mean feat.
These...
Thanks for the comments.
The car is driving lovely now, a lot smoother in the gear changes so chuffed with that.
Asda aero window wipers I'm not so impressed with, you buy cheap you buy twice. I have used them before now but they don't deal with certain curved sunscreens.
Just tack weld the wishbone the tabs that are already there, taking penny washers to where the bolts go through for the wishbones ain't a bad idea either as I have seen a couple ovaled holes now but you will have to watch for bolt length.
If your that way inclined then just weld the wishbone pic ups to the frame and put a big repair washer around the front two mounting holes. They have been known to split there with slicks.
Them seat's are supposed to be the dogs danglies although I have not sat in any, good for larger people I'm told.
The car looks good, it needs a set of pro race 1.2's though ;)
The back doesn't get a hard life unless your throwing it through weight changes. It would actually make a really good setup in the wet and definitely offer enough grip in the dry as long as they are not wanli remoulds on the rear.
A lot of FWD race series like the BTCC used to put slicks on the...
Re read post #46, I was hinting towards the 2nd part of chips reply in post #51 without actually saying half the charged builds are mechanically shed's.
I have seen yours and it looks very well done which I have commented on in your project thread before so don't take it personal but iirc you...
I'm not referencing your car in here as I know your just being greedy which is causing issues.
Go into every supercharged or turbocharged project thread on here and they have had problems x,y,z and they have done this, that and the next thing and now they want to split, maybe they get a 2nd...
We'll stop this here, been through it before.
Charged Clio's drop like flies on here due to constant problems, whether that's bad workmanship or the unreliability of cheap bolt on kits (which are more than cams, throttle bodies money with some change) I don't know, I'll draw my own...
Having owned this now for getting on 4 months and not having any receipts for the timing belt being done it was starting to bother me every time I was out (it turned out the belt itself had been changed true to my friends word but not the water pump which is a potential fubared engine if that...
I done the same with mine and fitted the PMS kit, I wasn't keen on fitting the OMP strut brace to mine, it must rattle like hell, not that you will hear it with the engine solid mounted and the gear stick rattling.
Its good that Nick from pure has a cup racer himself and always develops the...
Get on it :)
Its good to here about other cup racers, not many threads about with them. I have robbed all the suspension and a good few other bits of one so keen to here anything about them.
Have fun.
Matt grey is such a nice colour on clio's , top one would make a nice road car, the bottom suits a racecar. You need some loud colours on a racer.
There seems to be the select few that get problems with the boxes and it has grown arms and legs, the boxes are stupid money when they do go bang though, a single gear is circa £500 from some reports and there is 6 plus CW & P etc etc.
I contemplated buying a Sadev once or twice but it makes...
Always remove EGR's and DPF's on diesel's as they will do nothing but coke up the engine and cause other troubles, they were only needed to pass emissions law's when they left the factory, as soon as they are out the door then that allowable emissions output in an M.O.T goes up.

The nozzle, adapter plate, nut and the valve and calibration pins are sometimes changed.
The codes are 2Ci codes and not 2cp or whatever I said.
we used to sometimes re lap the nozzles and ultrasonic them for good customers to keep their bill down, see what bob says about what's a...
We only done standard stuff but I would think if you re-nozzle the injectors with new codes, input them in an otherwise standard car it would run normal, if you could then have an uprated pump (which will speak to the ecu) and up the boost, fuel pressure through a remap you could be into a...
