I've had a 172 cup for a couple of month now, and its just started really playing up.
Basically it won't start, then when it does it will idle really erratically and the throttle pedal had no effect at all on the revs, then the car will just cut out. The electric and engine warning lights come...
Sub box carpet, IIRC there is a flap at the front of the parcel shelf near the seats, you can hide the wires behind that and just cover them with carpet from the speakers. Looks really tidy.

Find the type on there, then mooch on down to your local family run car shop, and haggle the fcuk for a cheap pair :)
I'd say get an RS tuner from fast chip, heard some really great reviews and for £160, not too much either, this is what I'll be doing when I have the money, depends what you want the car to do though. You after power, noise, looks, ICE etc

The tweeters deal with the high frequency of the sound, personally i haven't changed mine but that's partly because i'm lazy and don't know how, and that the other speakers drown them out anyway, they should wire up exactly the same as the standard ones, unless you get components then they may...
What you're doing there is Bi wiring your speakers, yes quality can be better but it is negligible, plus if you consider the crossovers supplied are probably set up in a laboratory to give the best sound from the speakers, you'll really struggle to match that yourself with the amp, also then in...
Get a signed letter or something from the repairer, ie don't pay her pay the garage and get a bill detailing what you've paid for, repair to rear bumper following collision on such a car park etc, or write a small paragraph as ask her to sign, she should do, then offer her a few quid as a thanks
