You mean RPM?
Wrong settings for crank?
Do you have it setup for 60-2?
EDIT: Just read you're using a custom flywheel. I'd say you have the wrong settings in there
Ohhhhhh sorry somewhere in the conversation it had switched to front:back
Yes it's a good diagonal split
I suspect mine would be fairly close with battery in rear passenger side and cage over rear wheels etc..
I'll 100% be there - if not on track i'll come and say hi and take some pics etc...
Got the Clio MOT tomorrow and then road tax needs to be bought on pay day - but my Passat road tax is due same day so not sure if I'll have enough left to book the track day :(
It doesn't gain much but the 182 manifold does make a bit more power lower down which is handy I find on track
I fitted a 182 manifold to mine just because the subframe was off and manifold was off to replace the starter motor - thought I might as well take the opportunity lol
Got my letter last week - made me laugh as I have no slam panel or bonnet latch on the car anymore
Might take it into the local Renault dealership to be checked just for the laugh ;)
That sounds so wrong!!
I have no idea how she's got 50/50 without a cage in the back - I can nearly bench press the back of my car when the alloys are off lol
They only have locks on the passenger door after around 2003 as the EU laws on locks were changed so a car only needed a physical lock on one door
Mines only got a lock on the passenger door
Pretty much sums it up
If you want to add caster to the suspension setup you'll need AST top mounts
If it's just because you want a solid top mount to replace knackered standard ones I would personally go for the PMS ones because the built in strut brace (copy of the cup racers) is awesome
Errrr coilovers? lol
You raise the front and lower the back which shifts the weight distribution to the rear wheels
But no you can't get 50/50 front/rear on a clio - but you can try to get 50/50 left to right and 60/40 front to rear
Again it's kinda pointless though when you throw a 100kg...
I know lol - I tried too
I even suggested Ed didn't make anything other than zero camber and -1 camber because I can't see any reason why anyone would ever need more even on a race car.
People don't listen though and will just get upset when they end up in a tree
Do the people saying "didn't think -2 degrees would be so noticeable" know that Clios come with -1.5 or -1.75 at the rear anyway, so if you add -2degrees you're running more camber than a race car
I was thinking September time - weather is nice then not too hot and gives me time to get some dollah together for hotel etc.. it's a 4hr drive each way for me lol
I feared this would happen
Waaaaay too many people slapping camber on for the looks
It helps cornering grip but you reduce grip in a straight line as obviously only part of the wheel is touching the ground
Wonder how long it will be till someone spins at 80 with -3.5 camber all round lol
I guess that would be a concern - but if you do a google image search for oil cooler there are a lot fitted the other way round, including standard manufacturer oil coolers
I'm assuming at 5psi of oil pressure moving through it pretty much self bleeds.
I've seen quite a few cars (including...
Again... pointless in the CS way
They aren't pointless at all - they allow more progressive braking and more braking force
Too many people latch onto the "burpspeed don't need them in their 700kg race car so they're pointless" thing
I spent £600 on a set of wilwoods - absolutely love them.
B14's are good for fast road - quite soft and comfortable.
BUT to be honest my car handled just as well on standard cup shocks with eibach springs, so you're paying £900 just to be able to adjust the height up and down :(
