    Another Fiat detailed....

Had this in for the last few days for full Gtechniq TSP inside and out including Crystal Serum Black. Shocking paint for a car with less than 200 miles on the clock but we managed to turn it around. Slightly in love/lust/can't afford :(

    Contactless Drying.

Try adding filtered water. We've got 2 DI vessels at work and we can final rinse pretty much anything and walk away even in direct sunlight - no drying contact at all.

Thanks gents. She has a few dings here and there and paint needs correcting - silver's the best chest colour lol. I like the yellow film - put it on the Saab and it looked dog poo but much better on the Clio :)

Small update. Replaced the rainbow main beams today with some standard bright bulbs and new LEDs (keep blowing the cheap crap ones from eBay), cleaned more bits nobody will ever see and applied some Eurotrash film to the fogs. Quick wash as it's been weeks since I last had a chance. Next is to...

silver 172 on 182 wheels and a black 182 both in Beggarwood last night.

Thanks gents - it's getting there. Dodged rain this weekend to get the wheels off and coated with Gyeon rim. Very different to my usual coating for wheels (Gtechniq C5) - it's a lot thicker and needs to be almost worked in as you buff the residue away. Leaves a banging gloss so pretty happy...

    DA and Holograms

I'd hazard a guess that pressure on the machine coupled with not working the polish for long enough is what's giving you grief.

Yep. Silver was the right wheel choice. Clutch also done, now just to get a RR session done to see what power it's making :)

Lol. Piss poor refurb too - flaking paint around the bolt holes and patchy on the inner rim. I've got new centre caps and bolt covers to fit and they'll be getting coated in Gyeon rim then some discreet stickering to promote my company and hopefully hassle free motoring!

Thanks gents. Going to add Gyeon Booster shortly for ultimate hydrophobic beading loveliness. Calipers and hubs painted today - now all silver. Clutch tomorrow and wheels going bright silver.

Not a huge amount to report. The tweaks and upgrades to bushes are working brilliantly - I can drive the car with huge amounts more confidence as the front end grip and stability are night and day. Really pleased. Quick tidy up today to get the pollen and Saharan dust shifted and cleaned out the...

Polished with my new Flex DA and Koch Chemie compound and refining polishes, Gyeon prep wipedown, 2 coats of MOHS, 1 of cure, trim to all exterior trim and tire to, um, tyres... Gtechniq G1 to glass and all done. Really happy with how it's come up as it'll used to demo coatings at work. Rear...

    Old Italian motor tidied...

Thanks gents. The owner isn't famous but naturally anonymous. Value-wise £800k as she's a recreation built on an original and modified 250 chassis with new hand built alloy body. Originals reach between £6-20+ million depending on provenance (I insured one at £18m in my previous life).

Just had the pleasure of this for the last few days. Correction and Gtechniq coatings throughout. Epic, wonderful and amazing - an absolute privilege to be entrusted with her :)

Been manic so not much time to update. Good news first - MOT passed :D with only the rear caliper (that I fixed!) needing replacing as the handbrake mechanism was buggered. Had the gearbox oil changed too as it made sense and my Powerflex ARB bushes fitted (inner and outer) done too. Lastly I...

Thanks mate. Needs a lot of cleaning but otherwise good. 210 standard - this is well north of that but until clutch fixed and I can get it RR'd I have no idea what it's making lol.

Swirled to buggery :( still easy fix for me! I'm inclined to agree about the wheels - not feeling black at all at the minute.

    andy_coops - Iceberg 172

So the 172's been away. Passed MOT but the caliper I "fixed" had to be replaced anyway as the handbrake was knackered. Picking her up this week. Meantime I needed a new daily as my old company Skoda goes back today so picked this up last week. 9-3 Aero 2.0T with a remap, bigger intercooler and...
