Yeah, the tyre is part off your suspension so changing tyre pressures can have quite profound effects. When I had a mini I ran the pressure slightly lower then recommend as it helped with the ride quality on the road but the road noise on the motorway was louder.
29 all round sounds alright...
Update.
To give the suspension a good workout we booked to do Donington park on the 27th. So the first thing to do was to fit the yozza, it went on quick and painless and looked great.
We than fitted camber bolts and set the geometry to BTM approved angles to get the best out of...
The JCB phone, dreadful interface and utterly useless software. It was marketed as the loudest phone on the market yet I still couldn't hear it in the Digger. Pants.
They are expensive yes. We were paying £400 a corner I think in the Xbow, not sure what size you will need tbh. Slicks are completely different to any road/track tyre, to get them up to temp u have to be aggressive and be prepared to slide the car a lot when they are cold.
We bought our slicks...
I wouldnt buy second hand slicks personally as they deteriorate with how many heat cycles they have done and its not easy to tell just buy looking at them.
Whenever we have bought them we went through the manufacture.
Simply because you are putting stiffer rear shocks on which will effect the handling balance. So Id change all four so you can have a set-up that is more balanced also you can tailer the damping to suit your driving style.
Looks epic Sam well done. I bet its good fun on those tyres, are you ever found wanting for a diff?
Also what suspension is that clio on? looks rather low.
