I remember once having an air temp fault and it wasn't that, there was a break in the loom where it is in the plastic shielding on the left of the engine. It was off the MAP sensor.
If it's in your contract it doesn't make it legal! My missus works in HR and says its so blatantly illegal she can't believe it's not been picked up on before!
Dephaser doesn't need to be replaced if your only have the. aux kit done.
If it needs a Cambelt though and the Dephaser has never been replaced then you'd be stupid not do have it done. Your looking around £700 for Cambelt/aux/Dephaser to be done.
In all honesty if you've just bought it enjoy it for what it is for at least 6-12 months. Refresh all the suspension and brake parts before going down a heavy modification route.

Is there anyway of just going through insurance for the other car and not having yours repaired? If your excess is £500 you'd probably get it done for that anyway?
In my experience get the assessor to come to you, don't let anybody take it until work and price has been agreed. It won't be Greenlight picking it up, it'll be a third party assessor too.

I'm Clio through and through but why did you swap?! You'll never get the Clio to 200bhp easily or cheaply, it's barely got its book anyway!
The amount of STs I've seen on track too, they can easily hold their own, I would of said keep the ST especially with mass amounts of money in it
