I usually tell them to f**k off - I never played in the street when I was a kid - I played on a pitch or playground
Last time I came home and they were kicking a ball about outside my house I drove over the ball in the 306 and burst it
I tried to ignore them for months and months but then they...

Mityvac MV8000
Got it for £48 I think off eBay
I used to use those that you connect to the bottle and a spare tyre - but had 2 and they kept blowing seals or cracking
Also when you're doing a full flush of the system it's a pain in the ass having to keep disconnecting it to put more fluid in...
Feels like I haven't updated this in ages :(
So much going on with changing jobs and moving house
It's booked in for mapping with the legend that is Phill Lanes & G&G Motorsport - but he's a tad busy at the moment with a BTCC car hehe
Should be getting mapped in about 3 weeks
Decided to do...
Yeah they all come without the bung - on chrispy's thread he mentioned he had to ring up for one
I went to GSF and asked for a radiator temperature sensor blank - they found for for a couple of quid :)
Glad you got it sorted
Fantastic photos - I have no idea how you got most of them without a media pass
I hate donington for photography - there's nowhere other than inside corner 1 that you can take shots without a giant metal fence in the way :(
200 cell on mine - running Jenvey ITB's - absolutely flew through the emissions test
100 cell as people have said you'd need to get it pretty hot first. But TBH when you can run 220+bhp on a 200 cell I have no idea why you'd want a 100cell
For anyone who's painted the interior of a clio (including roof etc.. basically fully stripped) - how many tins of paint (400ml) does it take?
I've had a few quotes from bodyshop's but I'm moving house so money is a bit tight. I need to get the interior painted and the roll cage back in though...
That's what I thought was weird - I replaced it every year on my 106 gti at the same time as the main oil change
Never changing gearbox oil sounds weird
Cheers guys - I've ordered 5 litres of elf transfelf 75w-80 - will get that changed next week :D
I'm on track at Anglesey next month and then 1 day a month all year after that - so just doing a big of a service on the Clio
Ordered plugs, oil, oil filter, ht leads (mine are shot) etc.. etc.. but then thought about gearbox oil
I've read the threads on here with people saying it never needs...
Agree with this
If I had a quid for every car that's had a smash at a car meet over the years I'd be a rich man
Bit too much testosterone and a bit too much showing off
At least you had the common sense to stick it up the verge instead of hitting anyone elses car - live and learn
I stuck a 309...
Yep - or if you're not local buy this -> http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0015NSTLI/?tag=cliospnet01-21
It's what I got - it's only £17
Switch it onto the (A) setting - hold it 1.5m from your exhaust at a 45degree angle and get someone to hold the revs at about 4.5k
Mine read 102db and at the track...
I had a 182 exhaust manifold, decat pipe and K-Tec Stealth on mine
It measured 103db(A) at brands hatch :(
You'll probably struggle - the K-Tec Stealth is stupidly loud when de-catted
I swapped it for a Group N system which came down to 101db(A) then fitted a sports cat which dropped it to...
Have you got any pics of the roof vent mate?
I want to fit one to mine because the temps on track days get quite high in the car and a friend of mine runs a roof vent on her 106 rallye and says it helps loads
I'm moving house around the 1st May (still in Lincoln) but as long ass I'm all done with vans and furniture moving i'll come over again
Be good to get the car out the garage for a bit lol
Does anyone fancy going for a bit of a drive this time? Nothing fast just thinking a cruise to an ice cream...
The omex isn't spliced into the standard ecu at all mate - it has it's own power supply and runs stand-alone
The only bit that's spliced is the TDC sensor - that goes to your old ECU and the new one - reason is that the old ECU needs the sensor to show the revs/speed on the dashboard and also to...
Strap from the bottom mate
It's the same issue I have with bodies - there's no room to get your arm down
Jack it up and undo the 4 x 10mm bolts that hold the engine shield up - then stick a strap around the filter from the bottom - easy peasy :)
You can run the race tech dashes off the omex mate - they do a box that goes into the serial port
I've been down chatting to them about the dash and datalogging for mine ;)
I'm also ditching all standard wiring - just gonna run the omex, dash2pro and a set of switches for the lights etc..
Roy - few things to consider mate as I have a new style mac mini and that same keyboard/pad/magicwand setup in my home office
The batteries don't particularly last a long time - so you'll need to keep some recharged ones on stand by
Also you can't "click" the magic pad at all unless it's on a...
5 inches???
Noooooo
You just need a standard tow bar bolt - you can get them from anywhere
They're about 1-2" long
Do a search on here - I put up a link to them before
