I had a 250 for over 5 years and it was a great car but only doing about 6k miles per year, now have a Focus RS which is very similar ride wise to the Megane and doing 60 miles a day.
it is fine most of the time but when I am stuck in stop start traffic I keep thinking I want a auto as it would...
Inners are a PITA to fit on axle stands, took me hours and lots of swearing.
You need a big lever bar it does look like they will not fit until the bolt is done up.
Get them done at a powdercoaters probably not much more expensive than doing them yourself and less hassle also get some new tyres that is starting to perish
I have posted this before it does not just apply to rally cars, I am sure MOT testers that have experience with competition cars with have no problems with the new changes.
I questioned about 4 MOT centres when mine was due for it's first MOT after I had turned it into a track car and most had...
A 172 cup would be best but in 10 years time there will be hardly any 1*2’s left so as long as it was in good condition with no rust the values will be similar imo, find the best example you can for your budget.
I noticed the message had disappeared on mine the other day.
I also get the hill start message regular normally when the car is on the drive facing downhill stays on for a few seconds.
No I have the canards they do nothing I just liked the look lol
I would say the splitter does nothing either would need a full flat floor, stick to a Fabia splitter for £10
Love my track Clio, it would be nice to have more power to get past the idiots who don’t move over to let you past but apart from that it’s a great car and reasonably cheap to run.
If I did change I would like a supercharged mini but that will cost more than £4K
Seen these a while ago, don't know if they are any good but cheaper than magnecor

Few more jobs done recently.
I brought a small tablet in the black friday sale as I had a thought of using torque pro app or Harrys laptimer on it also use it as a sat nav but then I needed a neat way of mounting it as I don't like all sorts of crap stuck to the screen, after a lot of searching...
I was undecided between BC and Gaz Golds but in the end went for the golds off @Mash.
Cheaper than the BC’s and with custom spring rates.
The point that swayed me was the coilover rear unit makes changing spring rates if needed a lot easier and cheaper.
I have yet to use them on the track but...
Thank you,
The gauge was not too bad to fit hardest part is getting the plug into the car, it could be taken apart but I did not want to risk it so drilled a bigger hole
I am more than happy with the finish and the advantage to a rattle can if it gets scratched it is easy to touch up again.
These are the door straps and Porsche trim.

Thank you I try my best to keep it in good condition.
The door pulls are TRS ones and the surrounds are from Porsche, I will sort you the part numbers out later they were only a couple of quid each.
The paint is really good I have not lacquered it but it seems nice and durable, never going to...
Made a couple of show plates for the car a few weeks ago just a pair of old plates covered them in carbon fibre vinyl and a Renault sport sticker on top think they have come out good.
I also had a new RS rear badge made in orange
Get a Janspeed or Ktec as it is now I had one on my first 182 in 2005 and that was great no drone, I have the Ktec ultra performance now in my track car and with no interior still do not get any drone.
this is what I have now with no centre silencer...
