Performance, handling (iirc the mk1 has a shorter wheelbase so is more skittish, hence the harsh road reports), interior, looks.
From what ive seen a mk1 doesnt turn anywhere near as many heads as a mk2 (if thats your bag)

Yup, it wont turn the volume off mate, thats adjusted in settings.

If you plan on tracking it and getting lots of mods, get a cup, if you prefer looks and comfort, on a car thats still quick, get a 182.
Not much difference though, so to be honest, if it means waiting a year, get the cup now :)
I was looking at 182's the other day mate! I want a black ff with both cup packs, and ive got a 172cup, which is even closer than yours!

My light hasnt come on, apparently it can depend on how far in the lambda sensors go on it? ie some makes are worse than others? this right?
