Performance, handling (iirc the mk1 has a shorter wheelbase so is more skittish, hence the harsh road reports), interior, looks. From what ive seen a mk1 doesnt turn anywhere near as many heads as a mk2 (if thats your bag)

Yup, it wont turn the volume off mate, thats adjusted in settings. Just the keypad ones from the side button. You like it al? Am thinking of swapping for a k800? ive got til friday to decide.

Nothing in it speedwise mate. If you plan on tracking it and getting lots of mods, get a cup, if you prefer looks and comfort, on a car thats still quick, get a 182. Not much difference though, so to be honest, if it means waiting a year, get the cup now :)

If they're turinis from a cup, and not a trophy, you need narrower 195 tyres...

I was looking at 182's the other day mate! I want a black ff with both cup packs, and ive got a 172cup, which is even closer than yours! imo the 182's drive nicer... :)

I thought the problem was more to do with the wheelbase fred? Its longer on a mk2 iirc, hence more stable?

An unsilenced decat is basically a piece of pipe mate, so anywhere will do really... My light hasnt come on, apparently it can depend on how far in the lambda sensors go on it? ie some makes are worse than others? this right?
