Really?? Where did you go for that out of interest? I was £144 and that was cheap beside me.
Work medical's can be used but need to be within 3 months and the doctor will want a signing fee.
Should be stretch bolts that can't be re-used unless they are within a certain length. Just replace for the minimal cost it will be along with head gasket set.
Depending what your looking for AP racing do some of the best fluid available, PRF 660 ranked top in a comparison in a test I read for actual boiling points and longevity. ATE came around 4th or os from memory. ATE stuff is good value for money though.
Performance brake fluids have a shorter...
Genuinely lol'd alot at the mothers drinking habits comment. It doesn't define you but gives a good insight.
VXR is one of the better current hot hatches iirc.
Different strokes for different folks and all that. I just find it hard to see a young guy driving these cars.
I'll leave it at...
Also if you lift your boot carpet on a corsa d you will see a massive Opel sign stamped into the sheet metal.
Some people say the engineers had a bet about putting a shark somewhere. Came about because someone said the corsa vxr's had shark like features with the large bumper grill (mouth) and...
Don't slate too much for what I have said.
I guess it depends what kind of life/work environment you have, as I said I would never live it down. From experience of driving a mx5 and 206cc I was cringing driving them around tbh, didn't want to be seen in them and couldn't wait to get out.
This is really going to go against the grain for most but care.
Being a young guy and driving a car like a TT,mx5,mr2 you have to seriously evaluate your sexuality, it's almost passable for a cheap midlife crises but just no. There is a lot of lover's of these types on here for some reason, I...
Like i say its a hard one to find, greasing all the quick fit fuel connections with a non harmful grease is a good start. The few times I got a chance to use them smoke machines was good, if your testing anything you have to be sure its a clear path with no check valves etc. i.e checking a...
Nobody can tell you exactly, It all depends what tyre and wheels you are using, you realise your suspension moves closer to the arches when moving so checking while stopped isn't going to show up much unless it has left some lasting marks like has been said.
Air leaks are almost impossible to find, emptying the fuel lines and using that smoke machine at pressure is a good way. Id say its possibly the the small o-rings in the fuel feed pipe speed connection or have they checked and lubed the small o-rings on the injector fuel return hoses?
The op has a bodies car that is used for long sessions only on track. Thats reason enough to fit some kind if cooler IMO so the oil isn't getting to extremes of its properties.
If you find it ain't getting upto temp in winter fit blanks or put tape on heat exchanger, fit the cooler correctly...
Dont know the technical description but have you got a key on top of the keyboard that looks like a big and small screen, when you press it with the function key it changes the output? That's what I have to do.
Iirc correctly Fred the car boiled itself at that race but he couldn't be sure of temps due to dodgy sensors etc then it spat a rod next time out, more than likely the oil taken a roasting didnt help that.
I think its unfair to say a car doesn't need one Tony when your running one of a...
Wrong spy, further down.
Throwing white over it is easy to do all at once/cheaper and easier to touch/patch in when you bash it. Shows off sponsors good too.
Mine will go white when/if it gets some gravel/race petina.
That explains it then, I thought it was funny when the op said he was switching from delphi to bosch as fuel systems are always a one manufacturer deal plus bosch injectors typically don't need coded where as the delphi's do...and they are 2 totally different shapes of injector for common rail...
