If it's a standard steel wheel with the same size tyre then you can just drive it as normal. The offset could be different which may make it pull slightly one way or another.
If it's say a 15" steel when the others are 16" then just drive a bit more sensibly as the tyre dimensions will probably...
Choice of 2 helmets, 1st is a large OMP full face, hasn't got the flame proof lining but still a nice helmet, just used for 1 Rallyx meeting, bit of kart in and the odd track day, £40 posted
2nd up is my large V2 pro, flameproof lining but no hans posts, some stickers removed but has the...
Pretty much been said, but it's the initial costs of the stuff you need before you even turn a wheel that puts people off.
Bars test
Msa licence
Club membership
Flame resistant helmet (either to suit an intercom, or already have one built in)

Currently at the Midlands breakfast club car meeting at the British Ironwork centre near Oswestry.
Good weather has brought some lovely cars out. I've even dusted off the rally car...
will add some more later.
Another cup and a trophy also here

Cheers
The height of the harness bar isn't really the issue, it's the diagonal that goes through it.
It's stops you from mounting the harnesses correctly to suit the hans devices as the harnesses need to be tapered together for the hans to work correctly.
See how the new cage has the harnesses...
Who has had their new replacement cage? Have they now moved up the harness bar so that the cross diagonal doesn't foul the harness straps?
Hoping to get my cage out in the very near future, but I don't want the harness bar that low on the new one, I want it like their demo cage / like our...
I removed my alarm totally with no issues.
Strip all the tape back that holds the loom together, and just shorten/tidy up anything you want to keep.
If you want the alarm, you will need to keep the wiring to both the hazards and central locking.
If it's just a budget toy as it's just something to do while you build something else, just go out and have a laugh with it as it is.
I had as much fun thrashing a stripped out but standard focus 170 round oulton with standard pads and crap tyres as I did in the clio with decent tyres and...
