Afternoon track people Wanting to tidy up the doors on the mk1 with some kind of doorcard. Don't really wanna be spending hundreds on some carbon fibre jobs just for track. Has anyone made their own? What materials are out there that could do the job? Post pics if you have them Thanks

Yeah I enjoyed the renaultsport day at brands earlier in the year, not sure I'd do another though. I like the variety of a normal day, walking around the pits and seeing what weird and wonderful cars people bring. Following other clios around all day got a bit repetitive.

Lovely car and such a shame it's all going tits up and making you want to get rid. Seems to be a common theme in the 'specialist/tuner' world of clios. Seen it on here and on the mk1 forums back in the day. Someone builds a great car for someone. Everyone wants the same. A few more are done...

Looks like a good buy. Will be night and day when you drive it on 15s, I remember my brother buying one on 17s...drove like turd. Being an M Reg, you're either very lucky with the rust or you haven't found it yet lol.

Can only compare it to clios and other small hatchbacks I've driven but it's lovely to drive imo. Autobox seems really good, very smooth. Ride isn't as smooth as it could be as it's got different springs being the msport (I think) but I wouldn't say it's firm. Putting it into sport and using...

Popped up to Silverstone this morning to watch a family friend compete in the 6hour relay in his Caterham. It was very cold and very wet but a really good day and the variety of cars competing is just fantastic to see. Took quite a few snaps so I'll post a few up and put the rest in a link. All...

My friend mentioned the cracks before I bought it so checked them on viewing and again yesterday with the wheels off, all ok at the moment. It's on non run flats which I believe prevents it to some extent? Thanks. yeah the engine is lovely, it likes to revs so it's not too much different...

Then yesterday i finally got around to giving it a proper detail, in the spring I will get around to properly correcting the paint as it has a tonne of swirls etc that need removing. This time it was more about giving it a deep clean and decon and getting some treatment on the windows etc...

Lovely so far, very juicy compared to the clio though! Felt weird driving the 172 the other day after not changing gear for a few weeks lol.

Best way to remove vinyl? brothers gf has just bought a fiat 500 and the roof has a chequered pattern on it that's all faded, so wants it removing before I polish it for her.
