i prefer the 172 to be honest, prefer the wheels, the price of them, not a huge fan of the exhausts on the 182 untill they are replaced with bigger ones!
pure luck im guessing mate.
he's been with them for 4 years though so moght make a difference?
he bought it yesterday and is driving the car today so its true...
my mate just payed £850 - 21, 2ncb, driving since he was 17
cheapest quote i've had is £1400 at 19 with 3ncb.
his was with churchill, mine was with elephant mate, but try www.ecarinsurance.co.uk aswell, they can be quite cheap.
yep, im definately gonna get one if i have the cash next year, depends on the mortgage though and insurance, had quotes at 19 with 3ncb of £1400, but thats in next july when i have 3ncb, so i'm hoping by feb/march time it will be doable!
just drove down to rotherham to get my mates 172, what a car!
he took me for a spin when we got back, sooooo fast, i need one, can't wait for next year to come!!!
have the door closed, kneel down in front of it
put your finger nails from both hands under the bottom of the '16v' badge
pull it from the bottom, it will 'snap' as though something has broken but they will be fine, mine have come off many times that way in perfect condition
i get about 40-45mpg on average, dont hammer it but i dont think about getting economy i just drive how i want.
best ive done is 64mpg on a long 150ish miles run at 50mph.
below the speedo mate, black button sticking out of the plastic, you need to do it twice though:
when u turn on the car u will have overall mileage yeah, pruss the stalk button once to get onto the first trip screen, then reset it,
then press the stalk again and it will go onto the next set...
wont be many about mate so if theres one near you then buy it!
only 500 being made i think, and yellow ones will be rare because its an expensive option.
i would love one, especially an r27, looks have grown on me so much and they are really good cars.
however for similar money i would probably get the megane because of tuning etc, just simpler.
however in my real world i would probably stick with your car, £15-£17k on a car is a lot of...
i think get some white mini copper s wheels, they fit as i've seen a few with them, and suit the clios very nicely as long as they're lowered a bit to suit!
yeah, just the excess thats insane, but in a few months when i have some more spare cash ill ring them up and lower it to something more sensible for some extra moolah!
