its been asked alot but



  you may know it, clio?
its to doo with my door badges

i intend to send them to middo

and i know you just pull off but i dont want to break the clips...


whats the best technique to get it off and using what tools?


i know i have the search button but it only came up with "pull off slowly"


fingers, credit card, phillips etc...?

I use a small screwdriver covered in cloth to protect them, and yes very slowly!

Inside the rear edge of the door is a black circular cap about half way up the door. Remove this and you will find a clip on the back of the rub strip. Compress and tweak this whilst working the rub strip towards the back of the car, the rub strip should now come off. All you have to do then is tweak the clips on the back of the badge.

have the door closed, kneel down in front of it

put your finger nails from both hands under the bottom of the '16v' badge

pull it from the bottom, it will 'snap' as though something has broken but they will be fine, mine have come off many times that way in perfect condition
