They do insure Cups and have never not. The 'myth' of them not insuring Cups started when they announced they can do particularly good rates for ph1 172, ph2 172 ff and 182's because of the low claim rates on them, they could not offer this on 172cups because the claim rate was much much higher.
It was my understanding that charged engines (turbo or super) running that kind of power on the 1*2 engine needed uprated internals. I have never claimed to understand the forces of a supercharged engine and I am not really that bothered about understanding them.

it gives a firmer ride, reduces body roll, feels more planted, more stable, the only thing which isnt better is ride quality, as a result of being lower and firmer ride isnt as smooth, small compromise for much improved handling imo. It would appear there was something wrong with the springs...
