Just to bump this, my other half bought a Grand Scenic on this scheme (but paid cash), Renault are currently saying the car has 4 year warranty, 4 year roadside but are saying it doesn't have the 4 year free servicing (despite being told this at the time of sale) not impressed at the moment.
My E-Class needs both doing, it will be 9 years old at the end of this year. Trouble is it's not far off needing a service, pads all round, tyres all round and I think it could do with new front springs as well.
Tomb Raider if you've not played it.
I'd like a monitor upgrade also, but I'd want 2 x of atleast 27" as that's what I have currently and am used to the size.
Windows 8.1 is great these days, if you know what you are doing you can pretty much configure it to be very similar to Windows 7, with the added layer of the start screen & apps.
Mine has been refreshed now with new tubing, new power cables throughout and the correct size (one inch version) fittings for the Hydro Coppers (had to buy them from the USA!):
Only got an iPhone pic at the moment, need to find the strength to take it off the table and take decent pics ;)
Since the last update it seems mine won't auto sign me in (via Kinect) it asks me to sign in with a controller and when I tell it to turn off it accepts that command ok but now will never acknowledge me saying yes? Am I missing something or have they just made things worse?
Nice job Scone :)
It's the big drain weekend for me, not looking forward to it tbh, going to be a real pain in the ass. But should be worth it with a change of tubing colour and getting the 3 580s plumped in correctly.
The longtime customer card did nothing with Sky, hence moving to Virgin, but it does p*ss me off because almost weekly we get calls & post from Sky trying to get us back (its a bit late when I've entered an 18 month contract with Virgin!) despite telling them this over and over they continue to...
Mine sounds fairly comparable tbh (but I do think it's too expensive) and will be leaving at the end of the contract.
IIRC we are on:
TV XL
Phone (although I've no idea on the specifics, but I think its entry level service)
2 x TIVOs
60MB Broadband
We pay approx. £70-£80 a month.
I hate to say it, but IIRC I had similar with my 8800GTX which then went to a blue screen and the card failing altogether, the only GPU I've ever had to bin.
I don't have any sensors inside the case so I've no idea tbh, but I've got the three AirFlow fans on the front of the case so it should be fine, I don't worry about monitoring water temp anymore, on heavy load the GPUs seem to be topping out at around 52c with the GPU loop fans on full speed.
Nice, I'm up and running on the three cards now:
But I've ordered some correct sized Bitspower SLI (D-Plug) fittings for the cards and decided on Blood Red Primochill Tubing, so it'll be having a complete drain and re-fit probably next weekend. I've got to switch out all the cabling for the...
Silent_Scone what tubing are you using? I'm thinking of taking the opportunity whilst messing around the with GPUs to switch over from clear to solid colour tubing as I can see the clear has discoloured now.
I cringed when I read the title tbh, hate Lenovo / IBM servers, why anyone would buy anything other than HP is beyond me. Windows backup works surprisingly well in my experience, might be worth completing a backup to external drive then rebuilding and restoring once you've sorted the hardware out.
Well I got my third Hydro 580 the other day and got it plumped in but switched off, managed to order the cable kit direct from Corsair (USA) so should all be sorted within a week hopefully.
lol, glad I'm not the only one thinking that! I originally started doing mine that way (although they were sleeved) then realised my mistake and switched it all around.
Looks good other than that though mate.
Scan seem to think they'll get the kit out of Corsair so that's good, heard from the seller of the card this morning also so hopefully everything is on track :)
