I don't know why, but I can't get the link to work properly, if you go on scan it's scan code LN52738, if you can take a look and let me know what you think it would be much appreciated.
Definitely Lenovo for reliability, I've seen issues with Dell, Toshiba etc HP are good as well, but IMHO Lenovo are the same in terms of reliability but better build quality.
Speaking from experience (I used to purchase, configure & support laptops & desktops) on a large internal project for a number of years using Dell / HP / IBM / Lenovo, I'd definitely go for Lenovo. People don't know the name all that well but they are basically IBM and are fantastic, well built...
Yeah I've been with two of them for a long time (since they came out in fact) but the plan was always if possible to get hold of a third to boost things for a bit until a full refresh, they rarely come up and the last few have been the 3GB models and usually listed by spanners who have crap...
These look like they are the same to me:
http://www.scan.co.uk/products/corsair-hx-series-pci-e-peripheral-cable-with-2-connectors-compatible-with-hx450-hx520-hx620-and-hx-
But then I can't understand why they say "compatible with HX450, HX520, HX620 and HX 650"
Yeah, I've ordered the full kit but its pre-order as they sell so few units so its debatable whether they will actually be able to get one from Corsair. I don't believe they sell cables separately that are compatible with the AX1200 (Pro Gold), so I could be a bit screwed.
I've got bored / hated every other Tomb Raider game so far, but the latest one was brilliant.
I know its old-ish tech now, but I'm hoping I just scored a 3rd 580 GTX Hydro Copper 2 cheap (got to wait for it to turn up). I've just got to find some more PCI-E 6+2 power cables compatible with the...
I've got two Sandforce 120GB Corsairs, one was replaced within about 6 months and has been fine since, the other has always been fine.
I've also got two Samsung Pro 256GBs and just bought a Samsung EVO 1TB for one of my servers, all working faultlessly so far.
I moved from sky to Virgin because of sky's woeful broadband and they themselves seemed to have no confidence in their fibre product. I hate Tivo though so was planning on moving back to sky and just getting their fastest fibre offering, so would be interested to hear peoples experiences of sky...
I don't really hear them at all tbh, they are mounted via the tops using plastic / rubber mounts to the side of the drive cages and face downwards into the bottom of the case, I have to check them physically periodically to make sure they are both operating properly.
I'm tempted to upgrade too but have managed to spend a small fortune this month, some of which on my server kit so at least I get to play with some tech.
