I must admit that is very true, it is a lot more work than having a NAS, but once setup its fine. I've just ordered the new Microserver G8 which I'm going to put a Xeon in, so I will have an N40L with 8GB RAM and the add-on remote access card for sale very soon if anyone was interested.
Custom loops quickly get expensive, I wouldn't like to build a £2000 PC with a custom loop, Corsair solution is best and air cool the rest (spend the money on components).
Top of the list should be GPU, for gaming SSD doesn't make that much difference. In terms of regular use of a PC an SSD makes a massive difference, once playing a game, not so much.
The 'steelbook' is not worth it, but the VIP membership is worth having (add that to the cost of the normal version and you may as well get the steelbook)
The rumble on both my controllers seems f**ked at times, if it makes sense it almost feels like the rumble is vibrating (incorrectly) and at times feels like it is trying to work but isn't. Its annoying as I find it quite distracting when trying to play, I also find it doesn't seem to correspond...
Rich, seriously, if you are in a position to still be able to cancel I would recommend you do so. Tivo is terrible, I am not just a keyboard warrior but someone who had Sky for a number of years and currently has Tivo. The ability to record 3 things at once quickly goes out of the window as Tivo...
It's not guaranteed it will pick up all the drivers, but is by far the better thing to do and hopefully it will. You don't have to have the adapter for the top bay, you just have to come up with some way of securing the drive yourself. For the HDD caddies you do need the adapter if fitting an...
Yeah I bought one and was dubious about it, but turns out they are genuine HP parts so I ordered a second. I'm not actually using them as the SSD is in the optical drive slot and I'm using all the other slots, but when I change the drives in future to 4TB I will use them as it is handy to have...
N40L is 1.5GHz, N54L is 2.2GHz.
Both those cards look like they will fit, might be worth double checking the length of the sound card but it looks ok to me.
Yes, they are just like a small form factor PC, just remember you might want an optical drive for it as they don't come with one. HP say...
Yes all that I believe is possible, the only thing I haven't done is put Windows 7 on mine (I run Server 2008 R2) but I can't imagine there being an issue with 7, I'm sure I have read about others using them as you intend to.
I've got two of them (N40L & N54L) but I'm thinking of selling the...
I'm keeping my credits for the half price cars, going to buy as many as I can for the different events etc
The drivatars are good, just too fast on straights and not fast enough through corners IMHO.
Had a go in the F1 car, oh my word difficult to race in them.
Wondering what to get with the...
I'd argue Forza can be a simulator as well, you've just got to turn all the assists off. I think everyone is pretty much in agreement Forza's physics to date atleast are better.
