Titanium Ph1 172
So these Finally turned up today
Just finished fitting them right now so going to have a detour on the way to uni in the morning to see what they are like
Titanium Ph1 172
Each wheel was cleaned and sealed for winter, coilovers cleaned greased and raided slightly.
Also got door handles painted by no chance to put them on, and the rear boot lock but turns out the fixing points are broke so will need to get another done.
The car...

Paint the cup alternator and the brackets, just waiting for belts to come, also have some ported inlets to go on when I put this on.
Stripped the car down today as alot of things are in for paint this weekend.
Also cleaned all the inner arches out and painted the rear axle...
Little update, exhaust managed to work loose and drop off ending in a bent mess under the rear axle, so whilst I was having it a repaired I had the centre box removed. It's fair to say it sounds crazy now, and pops and bangs.
Got a 182 manifold and cup alternator brackets arriving this week...
Cheers for the comments guys!
Going to have a go at removing a few little scratches this weekend by flagging them and then machine polishing.
Also have a cup alternator setup to go on when I get the bracket.
Adam, the biggest clue is your on this forum! you best be getting a ph1!
Really good to meet everyone, some nice cars too.
I own aluco's old car, read his build thread, a few changes since then and alot more to come :)
Agree with the nando's hype above to!
Cheers mate!
On Friday fitted a ktec stealth, sounds pretty good!
Shitty halfords clamp snapped on it though this morning and it come apart on the motorway so I had to be revered home. All sorted now.
Whilst I was off for the day I decided to remove the carbon wrap from the roof, it was...
Haven't updated in a while, finally wired up the lock switches and rear window demister (big help from craig 172)!
It had a machine polish before fcs and a good tidy up.
Recently painted a few things in the engine bay and removed the air con.
Need to get my arse into gear and order exhaust...
Can be done, need to splice into the positive and negative for interior light though, and it's a ball ache to get the wires through the roof if your head lining is still in.
I've just read his thread, and yes it's 'pew' now my ph1 :) he sold it to a guy who works for jce ferrari, who in turn I bought it off.
I need to update my build thread as its begging to change quite abit.

Cheers for that, already done the sump and still seems to have a leak, the oil is golden but it has fresh oil and gearbox oil, there isn't too much of a smell to it?
When draining engine oil, 4.5l come out of that and 3l come from gearbox, don't have a clue where the leak is from
Oh dear not the best of luck that buddy, did you ever find out if 2mm was the correct depth for the seal?
When looking up at the flywheel when the engine is running I cant see any oil coming out of the crank end, hoping it's the box!
Just bought another ph1 as a track car, however after taking it for a blast there is oil up the back end. Steamed everything off underneath and thought it was the sump so removed it and put a new seal in, after another blast out it seems there is oil still on the rear after cleaning the...
Looks like you need to get my pictures up Craig, and the video!
What an epic past few days, countless ups and downs and some crazy late nights but it was worth it!
