Use a ph1 gearbox and flywheel setup and drill and tap the megane block and all mounts will bolt up.
You need an adapter plate to make the ph1 throttle body fit. And a bracket for the crank posistion sensor. A clio dci map sensor is plug and play so that will be fine.
Can get a 225 down pipe...
I have read over throttle body threads but can not find a definitive answer, in regales to the breather that sits into the 172 inlet manifold, when using a custom inlet or throttle bodies people have the coilpack bracket mounted above this, do they block breather and just let the engine breath...
It should read around 14.4v when running and around 12 when cranking, the whistle usually means the belt needs adjusting in cases I've seen.
You can also use a alternator and brackets out of a 2.0 8v scenic but you need to change the earth to a ring connector instead of the plug.
What do the f9q brackets come on? Is it just any tdi megane scenic or traffic van?
Also anyone know if it's possible to run a renault 11 alternator tensioner bracket so I can remove power steering pump and just run a Clio dci assisted steering Colum?
Thanks

Chip, do you have and dimensions angles etc for this tool, I'd happily pay for a drawing of it?
Wanting to install some 197 cams but don't want to be down on power with standard timing until mapping
That was the reason I bumped the thread, does this mean on the ph1 you use the spacer behind the idler pulley already in situe and not the new one?
Cheers for the reply
