What about a Punto Abarth? An ex had a sporting the 120tjet and that was fairly decent.
Sticking with Renault a Twingo 133 not as quick in a straight line but quicker every where else than a f500 and probably cheaper to run than a 172.
Looking good! I have the fuel and brake lines to do in my car next (twingo rs) so it's good to see other people's.
What's the advantages of epas for you Clio guys and what do the controllers do? Just the twingo has epas
Ha ha love the attitude mate! Think I am just jealous of every one who spends money and time on there car lol. Only spent 3 days on mine this year so far and we are over half way now :(
6 point is obviously better and will make the chassis stiffer but adds weight. Having seen your videos and how much you push on I would personally buy the best you can afford as it's your life at the end of the day and if you were to go to the next level and compete the cage is all sorted. Get...
Well hopefully will get the car finished this year but then again I have been saying that for the past 2 years. We are not going up yo Mull this year so is only the 4th time in 38 years I have missed the rally :(.
I would also like to go over to Ireland and do an event and iom. It would be nice...
Yes hopefully the closed roads will help us in this country. You need to get up to Mull as I am sure you mentioned you haven't been could be wrong though lol. I really like bumpy tarmac as I started off doing road rallys in Durham/Yorkshire dales and up into Northumberland and like the dark...
Don't own a Clio But used to own a brace of Ford puma's.
Suspension wise depends on what b roads are like where you go driving. A b road in say Norfolk is not the same as a b road in Argyll.
Fast road springs work on stuff that's fairly flat but coilovers are a different league when the roads...
I have the nikon above. It comes out maybe once a year if that! If you just want a camera to take on holiday I really don't think you can go wrong with a decent phone camera.
They are probably better than a dslr 90% of the time you would want one on holiday.
Dslr's are great if you want to...
The old mk 2 Avenger! I used to have a brown mk1 standard 1500. But I built myself a mk 1 running a zetec on bike carbs with a 5 speed box. A fun car to say the least
Thought it was you as that little Clio is quite distinctive!
I live on the sea front at Seaton Carew so alway have a nice view out to sea.
I bet the van is good fun round croft I know it was fun in the Puma. But only done it once. I am tempted to try and do croft later on in the year with the...
Looks like you had a really good trip. You now will me a Scottish convert and won't want to go anywhere else in the UK! Glad you enjoyed Oban as its a place I called home for a number of years (I used to live in one of the sandstone houses below the tower). I could suggest loads to do round Oban...
Looks like you have had a good break away and had good weather!
I lived in Oban for a few years then on a small island just south of Oban after that.
The popularity of the nc500 has spoilt the higher part of the west coast that the route follows.
There are better and less used roads south of...
Pure motorsport do a diff but only for boxes with certain bearings that may help.

For seat time I would recommend doing some taga rallys as some are...
