I've had my 182 since new, coming up to 15 years in February. Wow, where has that time gone.
I took it off the road for about 10 months back end of 2018 and garaged it. I didn't need a car for that time.
Since putting it back on the road in September 2019 I've spent about £2k with new brakes...
Great little cars. You can have a lot of fun on the B roads, they handle surprisingly well.
I've had one a few times when I've been to Poland.
I drove it from one end of Poland to the other, flat out where possible, about 10 hours. I thought the fuel gauge was broken lol.
I wasn't sure if he'd actually bought it the end and if he did for how much. I know he said it spent some time at Birchdown but it wasn't clear who had actually sent it there.
Like @jameswrx said. If it's not located on the peg it'll scratch your window. I know, I learnt the hard way. If you leave it the scratch will just get worse every time you use the wipers.
Welcome to CS.
Also for genuine Renault parts you have Renault Wolverhampton who i found to be slightly cheaper than RPD.

It's a bit of a minefield trying to find the right fan. It seems there are quite a few different types for a mk2 Clio. Look on ebay and you'll see what I mean.
The one I got from a local breakers had the resistor built into the fan. They assured me it would work if I bypass / ignore the resistor...
Is the fan itself working? Mine started playing up a couple of months ago. Was intermittent then I could smell like a burning plastic smell so I stopped running it.
I sourced one from a local breakers. Dead easy to change. Post #6...
I was coating the headlights with CarPro Dlux so I thought I'd try some on my scuttle panel and the black plastic on the wing mirrors . I didn't prep the plastic and I didn't remove it, I just left it on o_O That was over 12 months ago and it's still looking good :)

According to this you were right @Leo182
But I've bled them rears first, fronts first also in the order recommended in the post I've put a link to and all ways worked. As long as you keep the reservoir topped up it never made any...
Birchdown and Diamond motors hourly rate is very reasonable and pretty much inline with local garages I've taken my 182 to for small bits n bat's of jobs that have needed doing over the years.
My first experience of a major service at a Renault dealership was an absolute joke.
First they rang...
I've been on CS a long time and never heard them called that before lol. At least I know what you mean now.
Afaik they've always been referred to as ph1 or ph2.
They are sealed, but they usually have a vent hole on each end of the battery that pipe fits into. Both holes have a little plastic plug in that you have to remove then push the pipe in, you only use one hole. Once it's pushed into the hole the pipe just dangles down.
It is very expensive then if it was cash in the hand.
I'm the same as you mate. I hate thinking I might have paid more than I could have done. I always read lots of Google reviews before I commit.
The only consolation is that he's done a good job.
Tbh I don't know f**k all about radios, but I knew I'd heard before about the radio turning off after 20 mins.
From what I can gather it's something to do with not having a permanent live to your radio.
Hence why you can listen to the radio for 20 mins with the ignition off then it beeps and...
I had a fag burn in my 172s seat. I had a guy do a smart repair and it was totally invisible. He filled it in with some glue and some powder/ fibre product.
Just Google smart repair in your area and read the reviews.
