It looks a lot more focused. I prefer standard but its not my car.
Car on the whole is really nice though. Got the front end spot on with the 3/4 plate, splitter and removed sidelights.
I'd go for a dci 80 or 100. Have the option of a remap then. They will do 55 mpg+ all day long, have as much torque as a 1*2 as standard and the resale is a piece of piss as they are so cheap to run. Seriously a dci 80 is worth as much as a similar mileage and condition 182, sometimes even more...
Two years ago £7K wasn't that obscene for a 182. Maybe worth more like £5500-6000. I sold a ph1 172 two years ago (to the day yesterday :( ) for £2700 so you've not been done out of too much mate.
I thought you'd paid that a few months ago around your join date, that would have been a tad steep.
Helps you change gear ? ;)
I get what you mean though. cruise is useless on busy motorways, but when your travelling along a motorway on a long drive with little traffic its a god send. Can't wait to use it going to Le Mans.

Will be the exhaust manifold hitting the subframe. Change the engine mounts, first stop would be the dog bone mount. That's the most common one to wear.
I loved my ph1. Its so good looking from the front. Realistically the interior in the ph2 just looks better, the ph1 has the same seats, same driving position, pretty much the same interior kit (ac instead of climate). The ph1's are a little more raw to drive, being a little bit lighter and...
If your car gets paint strippered then couldn't you just get a vinyl wrap instead of a respray. Obviously it would mean a change of colour but surely its a much cheaper option.
It does have a turbo by the way. Renault just chose not to put a t in the name for their diesel engines.
I've driven a dci 86, may years ago mind. At the time I had a 1.2 16v MK2 Clio and found it to be around the same pace both driven flat out. General drive-ability of the 86 was better...
To be fair its a 120,000 one owner from new track car that's got every bill since new and the owner has documented pretty much all of its life on here and youtube.
