I was about 37 mpg @ 65mph. should I consider a new lambda or ... engine warms up as it should, and it revs to 7250 when warm, so CTS and thermostat should be ok
indeed I was talking about gallons not miles ;)
I was thinkin that maybe the US gallon may be standardized and used all over the world, that's why I asked
I was talking about the instant fuel consumption at a given speed, this shouldn't have anything to do with the average mpg, and re-setting the trip computer would be just an option. I'll set the cruise to 65 mph with the first occasion and see if I'm above 40 like fred said
are you people talking about miles per UK or US gallon? my car shows in liters/100km and I want to see how mine is compared to some of your cars fuel consumption wise..
thx!
I would buy some cheap t1r's for the summer and also a cheap set of winter tyres if on a budget. I'm not a fan of compromises when it comes to traction/handling
while we're in the cat area.. the emission light came on today after I wanted to get the tailpipes re-aligned- this involved some banging with a hammer at some joints as they were stuck and I think this messed up the second lambda sensor

Is the cat mod worth the hassle? I know BTB does something like...
many say red means you want to make people think you have brembo's. I think red will look good with most colours and there is a good number of cars with red painted calipers straight out of the factory without them being brembo
MK V GTI
Leon cupra
Octavia vrs
just to name a few
question is: will the k-tec suspension make the car faster than standard? if the answer is yes than it's worth the money. Generally people say the car goes better with these cheap kits but I haven't seen a lap time std vs cheap coils to see if it really is a difference
I'd buy them though just...
he bought the car with them on so couldn't tell
edit: you could email here: info@ozracingltd.co.uk
according to the official website they're the UK distributor
had a read recently and fitting a de-cat will decrease back-pressure which some will say it won't do good to power or torque. so do you really gain anything from fitting one? my cat exit towards the mid section is slightly damaged and I was thinking of either doing the 2,5" cat mod or to buy a...
