Glad that when you text me earlier it cracked the 200bhp! My old engine this is, must have above 120k now and proving how strong these engines are when maintained properly! And obviously not forgetting Mikes handywork helped make the figures!
Adding 50mm extensions to the runner length made mine go from this...
To this...
With no additional mapping etc. So a 3.5bhp peak gain but the best bit was it gave me pretty much 10 lb/ft of torque gain.
Cheers matey! Indeed a few alright parts, should work well once theyre on the car!
Running et43 OZ F1's Chris, cheap and disposable when they get bent. If it rubs after i've fitted similar camber to yourself then i'll look into 'massaging' the arches. ;)
Cheers Tim!
Might look into getting...
Sod running around on R888's with that camber indeed, surely its easier (and cheaper) to revert to cheap road tyres when your not on track or 'on it' on the public roads.
There's room on the front, my cup ran 25mm's as well as ET37 wheels! That's wider than ET43 wheels with 205's.
You've got KW V2's right? Dampening wise stiffen the front a little more, with the rear being stiffer than the front and you'll be fine. Will grab a picture of mine in a bit. I was...
On the spacer front Phil. 25mm hubcentric on front with 2.5-3 degrees on neg camber, and then the rear get some of the 15mm hub spacers. May need a tad more camber on the rear or get the arches rolled but you should be okay if you have ET43 wheels I think. Sorted.
Means you can keep standard...
£100. And you drive the 106 here.
No worries matey! Thank you for the parts, indeed if you find anything interior related bung it in the car and give it to Mike.
Same goes for anyone on this forum, any interior/plastics you dont want, contact me. I'll pay for postage but I wont be paying for...
Lol, working tomorrow anyways so couldn't of met up. Indeed got there in the reliable Cup!
Mike, thought you said it was red? Looks like a pink gay mobile.

Latest update...
Was just about to take it over to Mike at MWM to plug it in to see what the problems are. Well that didnt happen. Strong electric burning smell followed by smoke in the engine bay, looks like the starter motor stuck on. Now will not start at all.
FFS.

Will make life easier for me Pete, as I can now use just standard wheel bolts all round rather than using a stud kit.
Cheers Andy, indeed it is a shame. I could of just financed everything to do it this year but seeing as i'm nearly debt free (for the first time in 6 years or so) its far more sensible to get everything ready/tested/reliable so I can do a proper campaign next year as well being in a far greater...
Another piece of the puzzle has arrived today, cheers Ed. 15mm rear hub spacers, just need to get some camber shims ordered once i've got the geometry checked.

Hi there Gareth, hope all is well! VX220 Turbo sounds epic, never been in one but I can imagine they are bonkers to drive albeit like you said, having to be a bit more careful! lol
Indeed when the cars is eventually at 'race trim' i'll be out in it and no doubt be a Brands a couple of times so...
Looks a good one, bargain price as well tbh! As people have said regarding parts it depends on how far you want to go.
New Tyres - Personally i'd sell the wheels you have (worth £300-400) and get some 15" wheels as tyres are cheaper. A set of OZ F1's on here normally go for £150 or if you want...
Because Chip, that debate is so old and boring yet people still need to say something. This thread for me is about showing that there's way of further improving the RS2 and also trying to sort other ways of pushing it even further.
Just trying to cause another stupid argument, one that's not...
